Foothills Brewing

I’d been wanting to visit for quite some time and was pleased once I finally did. The Bartender was cool and knew a lot about the various offerings. The place is big and the atmosphere lively but it’s not too loud. Didn’t get to try any food. You simply MUST visit this place when in Winston-Salem.

Very cool brewpub with good beers. I loved their stout! Very crowded. My friends and I had to stand single file at the corner of the bar just to be able to get a drink. Calamari was suprsingly good. Overall, a fun place that I will definitely visit again.

Great brewpub with plenty of seating great food and excellent beer.

Very nice brewpub with a long bar, ample seating and a relaxed, but not bland atmosphere. The beers are all very good. The Porter was quite good and the growlers I got to go (India Brown and Seeing Double) both turned out to be very tasty. In fact I’d say the Sexual Chocolate was far from the best beer they brew. Didn’t eat much just some apps, but everything was very solid.

Finally got to eat/drink here at the Sexual Chocolate release party. Great atmosphere, wonderful restaurant, and as expected quality beer. The restaurant actually surprised me with how nice and big it was. A real quality joint. Definitely stop by if you are anywhere near the brewery.

My new favorite brew pub. The food was excellent the service was good. The place has a bar area in back and a regular dining area in the front. They also have an area up top where you can go giving you even more room. Everyone was there to help they seemed to really appreciate the fact that we were there. They have a fine selection of beers that are not your standard brew pub taste alike beers. Most excellent. I live 325 miles away and have committed to going there at least twice a year.

Droped in for the 08 release of sexual chocolate. The place has a nice feel. Has a buffalo burger that was great. My wife had fish and chips which was a bit greasy. The beers were excellent of course had the sexual chocolate but also a fest beer and maibock. Good place and good service.

Wow, Winston-Salem is a dead town. Was there for less than 24 hrs and stopped into FH 4 times. First, b/c I like good beer, and second, b/c there were no other places in town other than a Mellow Mushroom. Nonetheless, nice BP w/ slow service, good menu, and fair selection of brews. Overall average.

This was a treat for me to stop here on the way to Brewsgrass.The manger was the one behind the bar serving and was really friendly and knew her beers.Everything that the had to offer was available, no outs.Of course I had asked for the Sexual Chocolate and she chuckled and kindly explained that it will be out In February.The big hit was the Seeing Double IPA.I will definately be back.

Not a bad place with pretty decent beer. The service was a little lacking, but not too bad. Food was good with a good seleciton. If you want a slightly better than average brewpub this is a good place to start.
