A chain bar that attracts a number of locals, especially for Tuesday night pint night/karaoke night. $2 pints on Tuesday are a great deal, even if the the selection is particularly magnificent. Pool, shuffle board, and darts, as well as sports on tv make this bar much more fun that it would otherwise be. Still not a great bar.

Not a whole lot of terribly unique beers here. A few locals, and the waiter was very proud of the contract brew, REd Fox Amber Ale from AB. The place was packed on a Saturday night with guys watching football and boxing.

Pretty cool place. Nice, unknowledgeable staff. If I lived in the area I would probably hang out here. I went on a tuesday which happened to be the $2 draft night. IT has some pool tables but the music selection isn’t stellar. Reminded me of a Chili’s or Outback.

has restaurant type area in main room with horseshoe bar in back. two side rooms. plenty of pool tables and a few big screen tvs for sports. food is above average. especially the artichoke dip and tortilla chips. but just barely. the service is SLOW. takes forever to get a drink at the bar or from waitresses working the room. food is slow too. not a very original or wide beer selection. the usual domestics on tap. so this should be an average bar but comes up wanting of even those expectations.

This is an ok place if you’re not looking for a "great beer" place, but would like to hang out, smoke a cigar (they sell a fairly decent selection), and watch some sports. The food is not exciting, but alright (be careful, their sanitation rating has slipped into the mid-B’s several times). TVs as far as the eye can see, with a variety of sports matches as well as some with music videos and such. Lots of dark wood in the interior, the pool tables and ambience are the high points.

This place gets decent marks for several reasons. First off, it has one of the few decent beer selection in an otherwise desolate beer wasteland. Secondly, they have plenty of pool tables, great screens for viewing sports, and the place never seems overly smokey, like some pool halls. Been here 2 times while in Winston-Salem on business, and both times service was attentive and prompt. Once of the few places you can get Shiner bock on tap outside of the Texas area. The food is decent, but standard pub fare. It will fill you, but it ain’t gonna thrill you. Beer selection includes Red Oak (NC native...stay away from this crap), Shiner, Sammy Smith, and some other uncommon taps I can’t remember off-hand. If you are in Winston-Salem and like decent beer, this is your place.

This Fox & Hound appears to be pretty much the same as the other locations. It is off Business 40 near downtown Winston-Salem, and from what I have seen is one of only a few places to have a couple drinks and watch sports on TV. Located in a small strip and you shouldn’t have too much trouble parking.

Inside, the bar is divided into 3. There is a main room in the center that is about 3/5 of the total space, and it has the bar itself and a dining area with small TVs all around. No matter what side of the table you are on, you will be able to watch a TV. The 2 adjoining rooms are pool rooms with a huge screen (4x4 big screens) surrounded by 4 separate big screens. These rooms have a couple pool tables each and less seating.

This location has about 24 taps. most of the beers available are the usual, but they did have a couple different Red Oaks (Greensboro) beers.

We were there during the OSU opener vs. Washington and the place was PACKED (who knew there were that many OSU fans in W-S). As such, service was pretty much nonexistent until we scored a table closer to the seating area. At that point the server was on the ball. My one gripe is that a bottle of Sam Smith Oatmeal Stout costs $6.50 here! That is out of line.

We didn’t get any food, but I can expect it is similar to other F&H locations, fancy pub fare.
