ErikTheViking (1), Oslo, Norway does not count | | September 6, 2008 I have looked forward to this visit for some time, and I was not at all diappointed. Wide selection, and a fantastic beer book describing the current selection. Good atmosphere and friendly and knowledgeable staff. Best chips ever tasted. On the negative, a few of the beers were over the best before date, and the beer was a bit expensive (still worth it though). We got to taste 16 new beers, not to bad for a night. I will get back here next time I am in Stavanger. | | Beer_2000 (12), Kristiansand, Norway | | October 2, 2007 Without doubt the best beer pub in Norway. They are working hard to keep as many beers available in stock, 304 different beers in stock October 2007. For some beers, this is the only place in Norway to find them. Every single beer is presented in a regularly updated booklet with helpful and informative information. The staff is friendly and updated on beer. If I should pick something on the negative side, I have to mention that the beers are served to cold. This is an understandable problem and may be solved trough planning you’re procurements some time in advance. | | yngwie (71), Kristiansand, Norway | | June 28, 2007 [ Updated May 11, 2008 ] Finally I got to visit this bar, with the probably broadest selection in Norway. In addition to the selection, it is a cozy place with knowledgeable staff and quite nice interior. In addition to selling most of the beers normally available in Norway, they also initiated their own import, something highly unusual in Norway. Way to go! And I am definately going back. | | Sigmund (69), Hafrsfjord, Norway | | January 13, 2006 [ Updated January 20, 2007 ] The best beer bar in my home town Stavanger, probably the best in all of Norway. They’re really putting some effort into stocking the best possible beer selection - by Norwegian standards, that is. Nøgne Ø beers are available. 12 beers on tap and appr. 240 bottled. Cask night or "special samples night" Wednesdays. Friendly staff. |
