Loved the ambiance. My favorite pub in Halifax. I have to recommend their stew.

Large wood-lined pub with several bars scattered throughout. Decent tap list for Halifax, but like everywhere else in the province, it is not all that hot. I am a fan of the food, though and it’s a great place to watch a band.

Big pub in the centre of Halifax. Good feel to it and does decent pub food. Local beer selection but nothing special here. Probably could tick off a few locals from Garrison and Propeller.

A great place to meet up with people after work, or new people on the weekends. Food is very good, ranging from mussels to braised lamb shank. Beers on tap are about the best you can get anywhere in town, Garrisons Imperial Pale being the best for me. Steve behind the bar is always busy but always attentive. Sara, the cutie who served us was friendly and very accomodating. Definitely a place to stop in at least once when you’re in Halifax.
