Local establishment that I enjoy going to once in a while. Slightly more upscale than the typical bar with a good crowd. Great floorplan separate rooms for main bar area and seating and two wings that have nice pool tables, big televisions, darts and other games. Plenty of elbow room and nicely decorated with good woodwork. Decent draft selection that entails good imports along with other specialty/craft beers. Food is decent. One of the best pubs around this area.

This Fox and Hound location is located in the Everhard Road plaza. The parking lot is huge so there should never be a problem finding a spot.

Inside, you really have to squint to figure out how it’s an "English Pub". It looks a lot more like an upscale pool hall. The space is divided in 3, with the 2 outer sections devoted to pool tables and the center to the bar and restaurant. The bar is in the back center with a lot of mirrored shelves full of liquor bottles. TVs line the entire bar area too.

The beer selection is fair. The tap list is actually pretty lame with a lot of macros and common English beers (Boddington’s, Guinness etc). The bottle selection is a little better, with multiple offerings from GLBC, Thirsty Dog, Theakston, Anchor and others.

The service here is consistently good, both at the bar and in the restaurant. It is nice to pick out a cigar from their humidor, play pool and have someone bring you a Siberian Night.

All in all this place really does not hold a candle beer-wise to Winking Lizard a mile or so away, but it does make up for it in other ways. Might be worth a look if you are passing by.
