3 reviews for Lilly Handmade Chocolates
| shawnm213 (42), South Bend, Indiana | | October 17, 2009 one wall of beer bottles. A decent selection of stuff from midwest microbrews and some cantillon, de dolle, hitaachino, etc imports. $2 for a piece of chocolate. Worth a stop if you are in the area. | | DMRz (10), Durham, North Carolina | | September 27, 2008 [ Updated February 27, 2009 ] This is a very interesting concept - pairing hand made chocolates with a small but impressive selection of craft beers. When I was in they had 20-30 different micros, all on the harder to find side, and a small section of proper glassware. Their chocolates are above average to excellent, combining many interesting flavors. The southern gentleman truffle was particularly good. While I would not make a special trip out to this store, it is well worth looking into if you happen to be in the Tremont area. | | MikeF (95), Cleveland, Ohio | | July 12, 2008 Yet another excellent addition to the Cleveland Beer scene. This is a gourmet, handmade chocolate shop which specializes in beer - chocolate pairings. Firstly, the chocolates are excellent, easily among the best in the city. Creative, high quality offerings. The proprietor, Lilly clearly has a great sense of great beer. Her selection is finely pruned to offer only the best of brews which complement her chocolate creations. Although not the largest selection, truly impressive and including a few hard to find beers. Lilly is very friendly and helpful bringing a unique vision to the Cleveland Beer Scene. A must stop if you are in the Tremont area. If you love beer and chocolate - a must stop - period. |
