July 8, 2009 The beer was pretty good. I got a sampler of all of Rock Bottom’s beers. They have some really good stuff on the food menu. It’s just a little too much like a chain though. |

December 27, 2008 Need a map or GPS to find. Good parking in front. Nice building and good location on second floor. Standard RB selections and 6 specials. Six specials were very good. Well worth the visit. |

July 29, 2008 Visited here on a late Sunday morning in late July ’08. The server was energetic and friendly - not hard when we were the only patrons! Picked up a bit by the time we left. Only six beers on tap - all passable - no boundary stretchers. Wide choice of items on the menu - had the mac and cheese with chicken - very good. Interesting location - nice view of Cleveland from the other side of the river. |

May 11, 2007 How many of you love beer that could be mistaken for water? The beer was awful. After trying their attempt at a Belgian - which couldn’t have had more alcohol content than a bud light, but was served in a snifter anyway - I got a sampler of all of Rock Bottom’s beers to see if there was anything worth drinking. The answer was a resounding no. Even my friend, who is far from an afficienado proclaimed his disappointment. The powerhouse is a great spot and Rock Bottom could be a cool place if they get their act together |

March 16, 2007 Rock Bottom tricked me again, they made me think I was not at a chain resturant. The Powerhouse is awesome. The help could not have been any better, the food was tasty and the portions were generous. The beers were clean well brewed. This place is the gem of the "Flats". |

February 11, 2007 [ Updated September 1, 2008 ] Located in the Powerhouse in a very old big brick building with wood everywhere. It has a very big bar area with tap stations spaced out all over it so it’s pretty easy to get a beer. Real dark in there and is filled with wood and brass very nice looking. Went on a Saturday night and the place was almost dead. Service was excellent had a beer before the first one was even finished everytime. Food was awesome got the nachos and they were huge. The beer was pretty damn good I was surprised and they always have seasonals and growlers to take home that they heat shrink plastic around the cap. I’ll be back here again for sure. |

August 14, 2006 Out in the middle of a slag-heap area of "The Flats". Keep yer windows rolled up while you’re driving in. Interesting facility, perhaps filled with PCB’s, in a low-rent district. Food wasn’t spectacular, but the cheese and salami beer appetizer was pretty good. Had the chicken spinach salad, which was promising if the cook hadn’t turned the chook into shoeleather - artichokes, feta, a great dressing. Beer was pathetic. |

February 6, 2006 I needed to spend the night in Cleveland to take my sister to a Doctor’s appointment so we spent Superbowl Sunday in the flats at Rock Bottom. To my delight they had a deal going with all you can drink and a buffet of appetizers all for $20 a person.. A great way for me to get to try every brew on the list. They had 8 on tap and while nothing was outstanding I can say that they were all very drinkable. The food was average. The Asiago cheese dip was pretty tasty though.. and even though the beers were all you can drink the service was out of this world.. My glass never got empty before one of the 3 waitresses waiting on my table was there asking me if I wanted another. I had a very nice experience here and would certainly visit again. |

September 28, 2005 The food was pretty good and the beer was good, though it did not meat my expectations. We were in one of the private rooms upstairs and the service there was good. It was good compared to other chain/franchise brewpubs. |

July 19, 2005 Bar far th nicest looking RB that I’ve been to. Multi levels with a huge bar. The service at the bar wasnt very good though. I only had two beers, which was enough for me at this place. I am a big fan of Rock Bottom and felt this was the least inspiring. I had the IPA and stout (by reccomendation of the brewer). The food was average at best. The ribs were way too spicy and the portion on the fajitas was meager. I hate when they can’t find your Mug Club number in the system. Be prepared to pay to park as well, as it’s located on the trendy West Side of the Flats. 7 beers on tap, nothing too special. |
