| Sammy (206), Toronto, Ontario | | May 21, 2008 Just the one beer, a must stop if you are in the area. Most pleasant tasting room. Lots of stuff going on in the summer, such as toy train exhibitions, a porch and food. | | Spab (11), Toronto, Ontario | | May 17, 2008 Neat building and great location in the heart of downtown Toronto steps from the Rogers Centre/SkyDome, CN Tower and ACC. May lose a little ambiance when the Leon’s goes in next door. Staff are friendly and fairly knowledgable. Fun place to go for events. | fenyx66 (1), Birmingham, Japan does not count | | February 20, 2008 I had a great time, the tour guide was really cool and knew her beer. With the tour we got 3 samples of the Steamwhistle beer. I’d do it again. | | JAF737300 (29), New York, New York | | October 29, 2007 A greatb location with some very cool folks. They were able to give a tour to me (a single) and take a long time without rushing me through. Great location and some really excellent pilsner. | | mephisto (37), , Taiwan | | August 1, 2007 very close to cn tower and has a nice surrounding. only one beer to choose from, but one can’t complain. friendly staff and ok exhibit. | | linc33 (24), Albany, New York | | July 28, 2007 Stopped in after visiting the CN Tower. Great building, great public area, humorous/friendly staff, free 8oz sample no questions asked. We were too late for the tour. Have a cool image and some cool swag too, too bad the lunchbox-keg or hockey jerseys weren’t for sale. They do only brew one beer so I had to rate selection accordingly, but in fairness it is pretty good. | | kmeves (89), Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin | | June 26, 2007 Nice location, tap beers are a bit "run of the mill" flavor wise. Food was decent pub grub, service was slow despite not being all that busy when we were there. | tom_360 (1), toronto, Ontario does not count | | December 10, 2006 I partied there early this past fall. Great view of the CN tower (still have on my phone) from the patio.
If you visit this, visit the CN tower, and vice versa. They’re really close! | | Slacks (13), Bolton, Ontario | | December 3, 2006 Decided to try a tour, noticed it had already begun as we ran in the door. The kind gent behind the counter threw two beers towards us and said "run, you can still make it!" and we did. The tour was excellent, well detailed in the history of the brewery and the Roundhouse, as well as the making of their beer. We tasted hops (blech), fresh Steam Whistle (the only way to try it), and got to pull the whistle. Not a bad day. | | tiggmtl (117), Vancouver, British Columbia | | October 27, 2006 If you’re in the area, perhaps for a visit to the tower or to see a game at Skydome (Rogers Centre), it’s worth stopping in for a visit. Converted roundhouse has a nice feeling to it. Selection is limited to the one beer they make. Staff are very friendly and on the day I visited, we were ushered in free because we "had the guts to walk in wearing the opposing team’s colours". Staff were friendly and new their product and the local history. If I have time, I stop in for a sample before the game when the Als are in town. | View Page : 1 2
