When I first entered this restaurant it reminded me of a lodge or a cabin... dark wood and low lighting everywhere. The bar area is long and thin, and while they usually serve the Oregon Trader beer at this place, the bartender said they had a supply problem so what they had on draft were selections from Rogue, Steelhead, Widmer and other Oregon favorites. Decent place, and a place to stop when the Oregon Trader brewery isn’t open before 4pm.

Our server was really nice and tried to accomodate us with their appetizer menu. We walked in at 9:33. They stop the dinner menu at 9:30. The cooks were not willing to give for a group of six. So, that was a bummer. But, they do have an extensive appetizer menu. One side of the restaurant is a reastaurant atmosphere, the other side with the bar in it had a lot of skinny, long bar tables and suited itself to more of a bar atmosphere. As far as beer, they are in process. They used to have on tap the Oregon Trading beer, but have recently pulled it all. Now, they have a variety of other Oregon microbreweries as well as some of the more common choices. If you are ever in downtown Albany, it’s worth a visit. Enjoy!
