I really like Block 15. The food is good, and cheap during the happy-hour type times (3-6PM, 10-close). The fries are great (with or without parmesan garlic), the burgers are good, and tonight I had probably the best lasagna of my life there (sausage lasagna). The beers are also great (this is why i’m terrible at ratebeer.com, my adjectives are like "good, really good, great, flavorful" etc., but trust me, if I’m writing a review at all that means I think it’s wonderful). Right now the strongest beers they have are both around 70 IBU and 7-7.5% ABV, but they have some ones cellaring right now that should be awesome this winter. But the SuperFly Rye and the Alpha IPA are both great. Another cool thing is the atmosphere. The lighting is at just the right level, and the decorations make the whole place seem old, and interesting, and cozy, and pubby, and warm, all at once. I wish I could eat here every day!

Nice little brewpub on Third street heading North. Right across from the Dairy Queen. I stopped on a week night and there was about ten people waiting for a table. The bar is quite small and it was full as well. After about 7 PM the crowd thinned out and noise level went down considerably. The food I tried was quite good and after 10 PM the food prices drop considerably. The beers were the usual spread from macro clones to some heavy hitters. I had a sampler of their brews and all were quite good. I didn’t try any of the really big beers due to the need to drive home afterwards. Nice place and very friendly.

Great new pub in downtown Corvallis. The food and beers were good quality, great selection, probably 15 beers on tap, 5 or so seasonals. The artichoke dip was awesome. Great staff, small pub feel, excellent assortment of beer styles. The beer sampler was small for the selection they had, but I guess you could just order a few.

Last stop for the day Block 15 the newest brewery in the area. Nestled in the town right between both the Oregon Trader and the Corvallis Homebrew supply is Block 15 Brewing named after the original name of the area as they named the blocks when Corvallis was being formed. Old Gentlemen’s clothing store converted into a brewery. The place had the old brick walls the nice flooring, big bar and the sign that said beer here. A great old pub feel with a special little charm. The beers where very good and I got to try the food and the beer. The food was regular pub fair nothing out of the ordinary and was very good. The beers where very nice and they have over 10 different styles so to try them all was going to be a marathon of tasters. I got to try as many as I could and they where all very nice. The Stout was awesome and the IPA had such a fresh flavor wow it was awesome. Hell you’re I hops country so they better be good. We got there after the brewing was shut down so no tour maybe next time when in town. You can bring the kids and they have plenty of parking out front and the place can get jammed with locals and I am sure when college is in full swing look out this place on game nights and after will be jammed. Check it out another great beer place in Corvallis to hit.

Great new place in Corvallis. They brew a bunch of great beers on-site, including organic ales. The food to date has been awesome. They have been packed since they open, so you may have a sort wait. But it is so worth it. Corvallis has another top-notch place to hang out.
