| JoeTheYounger (20), California | | August 18, 2009 Found this website randomly on the internet. They had some pretty cool stuff. I ordered a 2005 Hair of the Dog Doggie Claws, 2008 Doggie Claws, and a Nogne Klin Kokos. They shipped the order the next day. When I received it, my 2005 Doggie Claws had exploded in the box. The packaging was not that great, they should use Styrofoam shippers instead of egg-like material shippers or at least use some newspaper in between. Anyways I contacted them regarding the problem and it took them two days to respond. Once they did though they sent me another bottle at no charge. I would order from them again though. | dwaggs2 (9), Lee’s Summit, Missouri does not count - explanation | | March 5, 2009 Great selection of hard to find beer. Placed order on website: Website is decent but better than any other online beer store. Took them a few days to get my order out. Only thing I wish for was an e-mail saying that every thing I ordered was indeed in stock and this is how much my card would be charged. Bottles arrived safe and sound with no temperature change damage. Great easy transaction. Great people. | rattord (1), , Ohio does not count - explanation | | January 14, 2009 Ambiance, well, the site layout looked good, but I could not find an option to search for specifics. Service, I placed a phone call, I had to leave a message. Email was answered promptly. Product had to be shipped to me at work. Being alcohol, this made me a bit uncomfortable. Selection, excellent. I got several coveted brews including Dogfish Head 120 min and Anchor Old Fog Horn. Value, overall, was very good. The actual price of the beer was reasonable, about 3 bucks for the Fog Horn and about 9 for the 120 min. Shipping was $37 from Oregon to Ohio, the brews were professionally packaged. Overall, this is an excellent choice if you want to round out your cellar. | ceffalo (3), , Texas does not count - explanation | | November 20, 2008 Very nice mail order beer outlet. My only complaint is with the setup of their website which is a little bit confining and not really very intuitive.
But, these folks are on top of their work. They get right to the order and communicate very well. I just wish they weren’t so far away (shipping costs are harsh).
But, with what they have available you cannot go wrong. Just know what you are after before you enter that website. | | juiceisloose (11), Windermere, Florida | | October 17, 2008 This rating is based on online ordering only. This place has a great selection of PNW brews plus some other west goodies, but not a lot from other places. The website is easy to manage and has everything seperated out by style. The best part was the ordering system, which was very fast and very easy. The customer service was top notch to complete the order and received my box really quickly. The prices are little bit higher than others, but the shipping is pretty cheap. I wil order from here again especially for the fast shipping. | | GJF (22), Cedar Rapids, Iowa | | August 12, 2008 [ Updated September 14, 2008 ] Gets a bit pricey with shipping, but great selection and nice, easy ordering system. Timely delivery. Could become habit forming... | | fakepurseninja (50), Washington | | July 17, 2008 During a recent trip to Eugene, I went on a wild goose chase trying to find this bottle shop just to eventually go into a shipping store listed at this address and be told that they have a mailbox with them, no store. Wish I would have known that in advance. Oh well. | | bhensonb (291), Woodland, California | | June 28, 2008 This place has really good service, and they almost always have the latest and greatest NW releases. I have been very happy with the 3 or 5 orders I’ve had with them. | sentient1z (6), Mitchell, does not count - explanation | | June 12, 2008 Just received first order. Top notch online purchase! Nice selection of seasonal offerings. | | blutt59 (52), Dallas, Texas | | June 6, 2008 Have ordered here one time and had a good experience, nice easy to navigate web page which I liked, would definitely order again |
