5 reviews for East 19th Street Cafe
| Beardface (35), Eugene, Oregon | | July 5, 2009 A much nicer place to visit since they remodeled it, I started my birthday shenanigans here a couple years ago. Darts, pool, a decent outdoor area are some of the nicer things about this place. We did once get a really skunked batch of beer here though, and that sucked. Food is solid like most McM’s, and a couple guest taps make for a nice change of pace from their normal stuff. Sunday service night pitchers of their own brews are a must. | | harlequinn (112), Tacoma, Washington | | January 7, 2006 The service here sucks, I even came back after my first experience to give it another chance. McMenamins has disappointed me at every turn. Their beer would be alright if they would put some damn alchohol in it. | | ¾ (599), Colorado | | December 23, 2005 More of the regular cookie-cutter McMenamins - reminded me of Oak Hills, Murray and others. Located next to a video store, there’s no charm at all. Small, limited beer selection, the usual decorations. Not bad but not unique as far as McMenamins goes. Skip this and just stay at High Street Cafe. | Gromit (9), Port Orchard, Washington does not count - explanation | | January 7, 2005 This is the closest brewpub to the law school in Eugene so I visited here often.
Again, you never visit a McMen’s for the service; it always sucks. The food is okay, the beers are okay, but the neighborhood feeling rocks. | | beerinmarch (118), Washington | | November 9, 2004 Not one of my favorite mcmenamins but still decent. Just like all the mcmenamins the service sucks, very slow and often rude. The beer is alright, nothing usually all that great on tap, but at least they change up their beers fairly frequently. Food is ok. |
