Pretty typical McMenamins: food, beer, pool. Young crowd on a Friday night, but the place is expansive so there’s no trouble getting a table. We stopped here for lunch one day. The food was ok. It seemed like an average dark pub. Beer was standard McMenamins. I had an excellent porter. Big Mcmenamins place down in hopping 21st ave district. Typical mcmenamins food and beers. Typical mcmenamins poor service. Sadly not a unique location, most mcmenamins locations provide a historic location, or at least great scenery. This is, yet again, your average McMenamin’s pub. The nicest part, being the fireplace near the bar. |
