| troopie (40), | | August 10, 2009 Light Airy Open room. Firm chairs, and well airconditioned on a warm day. Service was a little slow to start with, but picked up after I was noticed. My order was available two ways, cask conditioned and nitroed. Service was friendly and curious. Food was delicious, they have a lot of McCormick and Schmick items at less than McCormick and Schmick prices. Also a bunch of items under 10 dollars. Some of their beers are exclusive to that location. Thay are fresh. There is a brewery on premises. | | caesar (119), Bunnik/Utrecht, Netherlands | | September 9, 2008 Located near the riverside. Reasonable food, ingredients were actually not that good, but with a good dressing the salad was fine. Decent amount of taps. Beers were ok, and they did not have any specials on. Still quite ok. | | hoffshow (11), Newport Beach, California | | July 30, 2008 The Full Sail Pilsner Room is part of the Mccormick and Schmick’s Restaurant at the River Place. Great appearance to the bar and views of the river. Was looking forward to trying their cask selections, but only one was working. Ordered and enjoyed the beer sampler. Overall enjoyed my visit. | | ChillCoat (43), Concord, California | | December 15, 2006 Enjoyed great food and some fantastic beers poured by John Harris himself, what more could you want? OK, veiws of the river and I met Larry Bell. | | harlequinn (112), Tacoma, Washington | | May 26, 2006 This is an extremely stuck up kind of after work place for high level executives. Has a couple of Full Sail brews you cannot get in the city but other than that this place is worth passing on. Great views of the river though. | PullMeABeer (4), Phoenix, Arizona does not count - explanation | | June 29, 2005 NIce Place. 10+ Full Sail Beers on tap, plus additional micro/Oregon beers on tap. Great happy hour food menu, ranging from 2-4 dollars. Right by the river. | | beerinmarch (118), Washington | | January 4, 2005 A really nice, kina upscale place, very unlike the full sail brewery. Great food for reasonable prices, its not cheap like many brew/burger joints, but quality food. They often have some unique full sail vintage brews on tap so check back in. Very nice restaurant that overlooks the river, it was quiet when i was there, but it was also new years day, great service and good brew. | | fly (191), austin, Tejas, | | September 17, 2004 The atmosphere is a bit icy, but if you import your own crowd that definitely influences it. Nice snax served for cheap at happy hour. The taps have expanded since I first found the place. High enough ceilings that even the crowd of suits that lit cigars took a while to have their haze decend on me. | | JohnC (100), Mission Viejo, California | | July 19, 2004 Visited here as part of the RBSG ’04 pub crawl. This is part of McCormick & Schmick’s restaurant. The M&S by my office also has a &quo;Pilsener Room&quo;; unfortunately, the one down here features Bayhawk’s beers. Portland’s M&S wins big time w/ Full Sail.
Unlike others, I liked the food at the restaurant. Having a large selection of Full Sail’s brews was great too. | | ¾ (599), Colorado | | May 4, 2004 [ Updated January 3, 2005 ] They are known to have some rare beers every so often... 97 Imperial Stout, old vintages of Boardhead, and an amber and pilsener brewed only for this tap room. The restaurant focuses as much on their scotch list as they do on beer. In addition to the Full Sail offering theres usually a couple of guest taps. Be sure to go during happy hour to take advantage of the food specials. They are known to have switched taps, so be sure you get when you asked for. One of the better Happy Hours in Portland: 4-6pm and 10-close appetizers are $1.95 with a drink purchase... hard to beat that. |
