| bitbucket (46), Kirkland, Washington | | June 22, 2008 Nice selection of beer and food. Great deserts, and bonus points for cooking the calamari just right. The Solstice Festival was going on when we arrived, sot there was live music outside in back. Either there is boatloads of parking, or I was in the lot for the business next door? | | bhensonb (244), Woodland, California | | December 20, 2007 Didn’t do food. Beer selection was excellent. Bar staff was a bit quirky, funny, but interesting, talkative and informative. Offered a chance to speak to the brewmaster, if they could locate him. Pleasant venue. Good experience. Just don’t look at the view when starting down the stairs. | | DA (114), Portland, Oregon City, Oregon | | June 18, 2007 Big ol building with a nice beer garden outside. Some great seasonal beers on tap that were not shy about the ABV, I think out of the 5 seasonals 3 were over 7%. Our waitress was a whacko and not very good, but the food was amazing and the beers were great. | | BrewDad (188), Olympia, Washington | | February 21, 2006 This was a great place to have a meeting and we had a great time afterwards. The service was awesome and they knew of there brews. The food was great and just pub style food served so nothing fancy. Liked the selcetion of brews and will go back for some more samples. Art Lawerence the owner stopped by and he was very nice and treated us to some great brewing gossip. | | 11026 (57), | | January 25, 2006 Large lodge style building tucked alongside Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway. Interior is themed mjames style with plenty of dead animal heads adorning the walls. Food in pub fare plus. Prices for food and beer are reasonable. Decent (~4oz.) sized samples on their beer sample tray. Beer is rather status quo with some different offerings. | | mikebeertaster (22), vancouver, Washington | | January 4, 2005 Nice place to go for dinner and a beer. Like the wood lodge style construction. Would be better located up on Mt. Hood than in the burbs. Beer is good, food was good. | | acrdz (538), Boulder, Colorado | | August 16, 2004 Log cabin lodge building between a couple of supermarkets. Happy hour food is decent, but more expensive than other places nearby. (By more expensive I mean $4 a dish instead of $2-3 - so it’s still a good price). Beer is above average, every so often theyll have something rare like Bombay IPA or a Baltic Porter. Servers have never been a problem. | | BückDich (218), Boise, Idaho | | April 12, 2004 This place is tucked into a side lot in the forest outside of Portland. I came here at night and it almost seemed like a ski lodge. All large log construction inside, very good atmosphere for a brewpub. The place was just a family restaurant with a brewpub, so it was fairly clean and professional looking. Service wasn't bad. The selection was kinda limited, only about 6 beers on tap. Didn't try the food but the menu looked pretty good. The best part about this place would have to be the location and the overall ambience. They have some other good beers that I didn't get to try when I was there, that was my only regret. |
