4 reviews for Russells and Kristy’s Pub
| f351c4v (77), Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania | | May 9, 2009 Visited on a Monday afternoon in May, after work. Place was empty, ended up sitting at the bar area. Bar was cozy, with maybe 10 seats, with a few tables and a TV in the corner. Nothing outstanding on tap, Leffe and a few micros. They do have a beer list, although a few bottle selections that I made were out of stock. They seem to focus on entry level beers from countries around the world. Food was great, as was the service. I guess this is a beer Mecca if you find yourself in Bloomsburg, otherwise, it’s nothing more than a nice restaurant with a decent beer selection. | | Birdiebeagle (39), Perkasie, Pennsylvania | | March 24, 2009 My first true beer drinking bar. Went to college there and they introduced me to beer. Not swill but real beer. Had a passport for beer around the world. AH to be young and in college again.... | weezfour (4), Oradell, New Jersey does not count - explanation | | April 16, 2008 I miss this place! Used to live in an apartment literally crawling distance away. Unheard of beer selection. Great staff, ambiance. Live music. Outside tables. Go! | WhiteAlePower (2), Long Island, New York does not count - explanation | | January 23, 2006 This is a perfect hangout / eatery / bar. Everything about it impressed me. Between the wait staff, the owner, beer selection, food. Everything. If ever you get a chance to go, do it. It is located in Central PA, not far off of route 80. Follow Signs toward bloomsburg, main street (route 11). Their beer stock is constantly changing, best bet is to go there and see the list, also ask for anything new. Sadly they had to cut their stock due to lack of sales and interest. But the owner (Russel) is always wanting to try new things. I recently had 3 of their newest additions. All excellent. Very friendly, and quality place! |
