4 reviews for T.J. Rockwell’s
Parrothead (8), Ephrata, Pennsylvania does not count - explanation | | August 4, 2009 Great deck area, food was a step up from most pub grub. The beer selection was very good. Will go back. | | machfive55 (21), Columbia, Pennsylvania | | November 19, 2008 This is a pretty solid place to check out. TJ Rockwell’s was one of my top spots when I lived in E-Town. They have a ton of bottles available compared to other restaurants in the area. A huge outdoor area for the summer. The food is mostly sports bar type stuff, but it is good...try the Rhino Fries they are awesome. If it weren’t for the crowds that this place has during peak hours it would be a lot better...the service can be lacking due to the crowds. The college kids have scoped this place out and converge on it for the weekends...expect to wait for a table and there is not much of a waiting area. | | Nejhleader (64), Lemoyne, Pennsylvania | | June 2, 2008 [ Updated September 10, 2008 ] not a bad place, the food is fairly good, if i remember correctly on certain days they have free wings. has an okay selection of bottles beer, nothing to special, they do offer their very own rhino ale, which i forget who brews it, but its worth a tasting. | | FooFaa (25), Lebanon, Pennsylvania | | May 31, 2008 This is a favorite destination of the locals in the area. And it shows with the GIGANTIC crowd is draws. This place is always packed. The decor is well done, and the patio is phenomenal. The service is ho-hum. Their tap selection is mediocre at best. They only have one tap dedicated to a seasonal. The bottle selection, on the other hand, is respectable. About half of it is macros, but they do have some nice bottled beers: a couple of Victory’s, Paulaner, Troegs, Lindemans, Brooklyn, etc. I just wish they’d switch it up from time to time. They have a large menu, and the food has always been very good. You can’t go to Rockwell’s and not get the rhino fries. |
