Nice selection of German beers in an authentic German setting. The waitresses even wear the octoberfest garb. I had some pork and potatoes, and that went well with the beers. Not a place I’d go to often, because I dislike German food for the most part, but worth a trip.

OK, let’s get this part straight. If you don’t like that authentic German Gasthaus feeling, then you won’t like Otto’s. If - like my wife and me - you’ve been to Germany and enjoyed the ambience and civility of the true German beer gardens and taverns, then you’ll simply LOVE Otto’s. 23 beers on tap, mostly German, all served fresh. On our visit, there was (to name but a few), Dink light and dark, Warsteiner light and dark, Beck’s, Hofbrau Original, 3 Hacker-Pschorr offerings, and (gag) Miller Light. The food was good, maybe a bit pricey, but good nonetheless. The beer garden is a sheer delight! In America, you simply don’t find many places like this anymore. No blaring music to shout above. No neon lights proclaiming "Bud" or "Bud light." But rather, dark woods, a cozy "your welcome here" feeling, and just good ’ol fashioned service. I’ll take this over the "theme" bars and restaurants any day!
