| corby112 (17), philadelphia, Pennsylvania | | November 29, 2007 Local Northern Liberties dive that gets bonus points for allowing pooches. Although they have a decent selection of beers on tap, I found the overall selection to be dissapointing. i guess I’m spoiled by the other belgian spots in the Philly area. The service was adequite but the pub far was subpar for my liking. I would like to go back but with so many other superior places in the neighborhood it is hard to find my way in there. | | chronictonic (27), Wyndmoor, Pennsylvania | | September 29, 2007 When it first opened a few years ago, their selection seemed a lot better and more inspired. Last few times we’ve gone there, the selection is much more mundane and less adventureous. Service can be spotty if you’re not a regular :( Food has always been hit or miss, though it’s been quite some time since we’ve had dinner there. | | redlight (50), Winter Park, Florida | | August 13, 2006 Nice little bar, the food’s good. I was their twice the 1st time the bartender was great, the 2nd not so much. They seem to change their taps often, but they do have a limited bottle selection. | | xproudfoot (37), Paleolithic, Pennsylvania | | December 27, 2005 Nice, low lit bar/restaurant. Usually have good imports, belgian, dutch, local craft brews on tap. The food is enjoyable and goes well with the beer. The other patrons are usually decent folks, and the service is good. Doesn’t stack up to the other places, but this is my favorite place in northern liberties area, besides the Fire, which just feels more right though it has fewer and less fine beers. |
