Was here for an event that i missed. Three levels of space, bars on 1st and 2nd floors; billiard and darts on 3rd floor. Seeme dto have about doz beers on tap on 2nd floor, perhaps more downstairs. Also about doz dinner bottles and equal amount of cans / bottled selections. Wed night was packed on 1st and 3nd floors for 20-somethings dinner crowd that seemed to be having a good time. Place reminded me of an old-time negihborhood joint. I sat at 2nd floor bar (next to a few idiots that were drunk off of PBR pounders .. and were asked to leave as i was clearing my tab.) The Chorizon Quesadillas went well with the brews.

Been here a number of times on Wednesday night for 1/2 price canned beers. They have three different Sly Fox cans available. They usually have a Bells on draft it seems along with a few other micros. You won’t find anything rare here but it is a solid spot. Food is pretty good too - especially the fries.

Decent bar/restaraunt in downtown Philly. Nice tap selection of about 10 or so American Craft beers. No Belgians on the night we were there. Had a special IPA from Flying Fish that they brewed for the palces 4th Anniversary. Tons of pictures of dogs all over the place. Three floors with a bars and some booth seats on the 1st floor. Another bar and more seats on the second with a pool table and dart boards on the third. Worth a stop if you are in the area. Get the burger. It is filled with roquefort cheese, topped with leeks and comes with a mix of sweet potatoe and regular potatoe fries on the side.

Good Dog is a small dark bar in the middle of Center City Philadelphia with good food a fair selection of beers and a friendly staff. They often have a god selection of beers on tap as well as a good bottle lists. The main attraction however is the good dog burger which is hollowed out and filled with cheese and topped with carmalized leeks. it has to be experienced to be believed. the best burger in the city.

One of my favorites. Fairly upscale and fun for a almost "drinking hole." They’ve got a good mix of domestics and if you make requests they will see what they can get for imports in the future. They carry a decent amount of the popular seasons. Their burgers are awesome! And everyone loves the cheap huge bowl of spicy fries. The atomsphere is fun, but not well lit. The bartenders are knowledgable, but service is slightly slow. Warning: The bathrooms about as big as a small coat closet.

nehhhhhhhh, more a hardcore kinda punk bar than a beer bar. actually definitely the case. and the beer selection wasnt that great. highlights include prima pills, 60 minute, maybe some stoudts...maybe a troegs.. i played darts for a while which was fun. also i went on a sunday and a prima pils and vodka tonic were $6 for both.

I first visited here about about 2 years ago. I enjoyed the food and drink, but found it too smoky. Since the Philly smoking ban went into effect, i decided to return. I had lunch here about a month ago, and have been back twice since. 10 beers on tap; good local representation with Victory, Sly Fox, Flying fish, Yards, Troegs and Stoudts. They had about 10 craft beers in bottles, including Sly Fox Raspberry reserve, Shakespeare Stout, and Arrogant Bastard. Food was very good, I really enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich. Good Dog is in a very good beer neighborhood, and it’s definitely worth a visit.
