Nice selection of bottle and draft beer. Good food and service in the old Ludwig location.

Time is divided into 3 separate "spaces". The bar area is completely updated from Ludwig’s era. Good selection of tap beers, awesome selection of brown liquors (asked for a Szaerac and had about 8 ryes to choose from - nice). Dining area is clean and trendy. We’ve eaten there twice now, and had two completely different menus. 2nd time was better - split a gorgeous cote de boeuf, olive and garlic soup, a stunning beef carpachio and a great wine recommended by owner Delphine. Upstairs is the absinthe bar which we haven’t visited yet. A good solid place for dinner to take someone who isn’t as much of a beer geek as you may be, but you still want a good selection.

Time is where Ludwig’s Garten used to reside before they went out of business. They did a nice job remodeling to give the place a much more hip feel compared to the old beer garten look that Ludwig’s had. Beer selection was solid with Ballast Point, 90 minute IPA, some easy to find Belgians, some Germans (but not Aventinus like Ludwig’s used to have). Didn’t try the food and didn’t check out the Absinthe bar - perhaps some other time. Not a destination for beer geeks but a solid place to get a brew with some friends.
