September 25, 2009 Decent ’chain’ brewhouse. The brew can be average much of the time. But there is plenty for my ’non beer drinking’ wife so it is a good compromise. Easy to get to and makes a nice evening out. |

June 30, 2008 Clean, new, lots of seats, good parking. In the midst of a bunch of other restaurants in a mall/redevelopment area. Beer is predictable, not as good as Rock Bottom Chicago or the Cleveland Chop House in the same chain. Food is filling, but generally underwhelming. The feta/artichoke/olive pizza is pretty good. Ambiance is not as good as Chicago, better than Cleveland. |

August 19, 2007 Decent chain brew pub. Food is pretty good too. Definitely a nice feature of the Waterfront in Pittsburgh. |

June 30, 2007 [ Updated July 22, 2008 ] This is a very friendly place. However, getting to this place the traffic is terrible. On this day the squirrel hill tunnels were closed. They always have a nice written description of the beers available here. My server, Bob # 04485 was very helpful and knowledgeable about beer styles. This place had a good spectrum of beer styles available. Bob knew about all the brewpubs around western PA. Nice beer glass and mug cooler built right into the bar. The bar itself was very unique and attractive, some sort of ball peen copper sheet encased in epoxy! The brew tanks were directly behind the bar and easily viewable, how interesting. Beautiful ambiance. Nice variation on eye candy. Easy to feel comfy around here, once you get here. My bartender was one of the most helpful I have seen around Pittsburgh. If you are new to tasting beer styles, try this place out, you’ll appreciate it. I did not have any food to eat so I couldn’t rate it. |

April 25, 2007 A sports bar that doubles as a brewery. I was there after a comedy show at the Improv so it was packed. The beers were decent. The atomsphere was loud and fratboy-ish. Didn’t try the food, hence the N/A |

February 6, 2007 Sing sing is a great piano bar on the backside. Beer selection is limited an average. Nacho dish is exstravagant. |

February 2, 2006 They have a small selection with some average beers. Service wasnt bad and the food was ok. Overall my experience there was ok. If you are in the waterfront and want a selection dave and busters is across the street. They have some good bottled beer every once in a while! |

January 20, 2006 Selection is small but what they have is usually good. Thier rotating dark is worth a try, most recently was a very nice milk stout. Their high level brown is good as well. The food is usually nothing great, I stick with their pizza and am usually very satisfied. The staff is always very friendly if not extremely knowledgable, the manager is a cool guy. |

December 12, 2005 This is my third trip here and I finally like the beer! Ambiance is nice, the typical dark brewhouse, with some pool tables. Service was fast, and friendly, and knowledgeble. They had 6 beers on tap, 4 of the usual, 5th was the brew master’s choice, and the 6th was a rotating dark, which happened to be a milk stout. Last two times I was there I didn’t care for the food, but the beer is good. |

November 15, 2005 after being at the penn brewery and then stopping here was a big let down. the place just seemed "forced" and dull really. food was go........nah, ..boring. beers were so-so,...drinkable,but .....boring.
it’s about what you would expect from a resturant chain. it’s edible but dull.
