2 reviews for Save-Mor Beer and Pop Warehouse
| LinusStick (29), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania | | December 7, 2006 This is a great distributor. I grew up 5 minutes from here so I go back when in the area. Picture Wal-Mart in a beer version. I never buy cases unless I am entertaining, but when i do I come here. | | CMUBEERMAN (49), Madison, Wisconsin | | February 9, 2006 [ Updated February 15, 2006 ] This is probably the best distributor in pittsburgh next to McBroom’s and Vecenie’s. Has the largest selection at the best price (stone, victory, great divide, DFH, chimay, duvel, sam smiths, weyerbacher, great lakes, southern tier, and a bunch more...pretty much only missing Bells). For example, any case you can find a McBroom’s is probably $1-$4 cheaper at Save-More. They also have pretty cheap kegs...$109 for 1/2bbl Sierra Celebration ale...now that was a good college party. They can’t really answer many geeky questions, but they will order kegs and try to get cases from their wholesaler. Also, one time I got a nasty ass case of funkified Storm King ...and they let me return it with no questions asked (why my service rating is high). I have gone here at least as many times as I have gone to McBrooms in my college career (which is quickly coming to an end). |
