14 reviews for The Drafting Room
| Birdiebeagle (37), Perkasie, Pennsylvania | | February 14, 2009 Has a very good selection of beer. Many differnt ones on draft changing constantly. Ha wonsedful food. A little bit of an upscale resturant. Agreat place to hang at the bar but the resturant is a special occasion place for me. | | BiddleBrau (32), Midland Park, New Jersey | | September 7, 2008 Bar provides a good tap selection and restaurant is not your standard dive bar. Service in the bar was great the night we went. Not specifically a beer bar but a nice mix of good food and a decent selections of taps. | | Hawksfan17 (46), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania | | August 3, 2008 The building is orange and the inside area isn’t much but their selection is unreal! Half price appetizers during happy hour. The mussels were good. I suggest going here if you are in the area. | | chronictonic (27), Wyndmoor, Pennsylvania | | November 17, 2007 Yuppie semi-upscale restaurant with a really decent beer selection. Bar area is a mix of 20-something’s, yuppies, and a few beer geeks. Good bottle selection but prices are pretty high. Tap selection can range from really nice (last night had Great Divide Fresh Hop Ale, Rogue XS I2PA, Mojo IPA, Breckenridge Oatmeal Stout) to borderline mundane. Food is generally good but pricey - most entrees are $15-$20, sandwiches are $10. Good serving sizes. If you’re in the bar area, sit at the bar otherwise service can be non-existent. | | JB175 (43), Bucks County, Pennsylvania | | July 12, 2007 Made it here for my birthday this year and found a nice selection, but nowhere near what I was hoping for. Hopdevil on cask, some pricey bottles, and friendly service were the highlights. Food is pretty good, but not as good as alot of local brewpubs (Iron Hill, General Lafayette, Sly Fox. Nice to stop in at if you’re in the area. | sbower (1), Chalfont, Pennsylvania does not count - explanation | | March 12, 2007 You cannot go wrong at this place. Not only is the food excellent, but the beer selection is superb. | BeerBlitz (2), Roslyn, Pennsylvania does not count - explanation | | March 2, 2007 This is a fairly regular stop for me and my beer-loving friends. Menu is good, though a little pricey for what you get. Bottled beer selection is okay but seems to rarely change. Draft beer selection is usually pretty interesting, with always a couple I haven’t tried yet. I would gladly recommend their single malt scotch selection, which is pretty good considering this is primarily a beer-drinking establishment. | | egajdzis (35), Spring Mount, Pennsylvania | | May 22, 2006 Beers are the typical local beers. Can be solid, but for a local, the Exton location gets much more exciting beers. Food is decent for a beer bar. Service is so-so, but sometimes it takes a bit to update their website. | | bu11zeye (112), Frisco, Texas | | December 15, 2005 Nice selection of beers with a continual roating draft selection. Descent selection of beers in bottles. | | hopdog (201), Lansdale, Pennsylvania | | August 26, 2004 This is one of my regular spots as I live ~10 minutes away. Rotating draft (there is always something new and good on tap every time I go there). Another bonus is there Wednesday Night Glass give away night (order their special beer and you get to keep the glass - although usually a shaker, I’ve gotten some other glass styles there). Good food as well. Another plus is it is children friendly in the dinning area (I can come with the family for a night out and also get to drink some good beer). |
