RateBeer Brew Tour Guide's Comments
Situated in Chambly, half an hour south of Montreal, this brewpub has all that’s needed to be a must stop in the region. A great brewer/owner, experimental and loving balance, proudly offering his latest creations in a very cozy atmosphere. Check out the brewery aquarium, where you can watch the brewer/brewery at work through the windows, while you sip your pint in an indoor lawn chair. Immense bottle collection everywhere on the walls, everywhere you look there is something you haven’t seen before. If you go to Fourquet Fourchette, come here as well! And if you come here, well, go to Fourquet Fourchette as well!

| puzzl (50), New York, New York | | February 10, 2008 What an awesome place! The first thing you see is an absolutely massive beer bottle collection, something like 4000-5000 bottles, are perfectly arranged. Every beer we had was delicious. They’ve got a foosball table in back that is free to play, and ample seating for crowds. Service was good too. The only problem was that the music was terrible. | | Sammy (206), Toronto, Ontario | | August 21, 2007 Special planning to get out here, and especially get home, though Chambly is lovely farm country. At least two of you, one with a map. Stop in at the SAQ (government-run store a block away). Lots of lounge benches outside and lots of room inside with a small bar. Mostly college students off on vacation, alongside suburb couples. A different taste and type of beers, certainly better than average, with the Kolsch the most interesting to me and something that I would hand out if bottled. Bread and water given complementary in sampling glasses, which are of generous amount. Relaxing. | | Poperinge (98), Cowtown, Alberta | | July 9, 2007 [ Updated August 12, 2007 ] Can’t believe I have rated this place ! Nicolas has a great little pub with a great selection of his own beer. This place is a like a beer museum and a must see for any fan of beer. Snacks are the only food really available and he has an extensive Scotch selection | | beerbuzzmontreal (13), Montreal, Quebec | | August 21, 2006 Bedondaine et Bedons Ronds is a great brewpub in every aspect. First of all the beer is excellent, always well-balanced and enjoyable, they insist a lot on giving the perfect beer service to the customer, the best glass at the best temperature. The staff know their beers a lot and got to brew one with the owner. Nicolas. the owner is very friendly and likes to chat with customers. The food menu is limited but the food is good. The athmosphere in the brewpub is always relaxed and friendly, there a sofas and comfy chairs to help you relax and enjoy the beer. The place is nice to look to also, the main visual attraction is the impressive beer collection displayed there. All in all this is a great place. | 26simon (2), Quebec does not count | | June 20, 2006 LA place.. Excellente place. Le seule probleme c’est qu’il n’est pas a montreal. Un excellent choix pour les stouts et les bieres corsées. sans aucun doute c’est la meilleures places pour boire des bonnes bieres dans le coin. Malheureusement il n’est pas a montreal. | kedish (1), does not count | | May 20, 2006 Nice quiet place with great selection of beer. Staff is very friendly. Interesting collection of beer bottles. Excellent service. My favorite brewpub in Montreal area | | LadySusan (61), Ste-Therese, Quebec | | May 7, 2006 This place is just a perfect place to go for a good beer and peace and quiet. I was there on a week day in the afternoon siiting in the sun with my beer budy. The service was excellent and the choices were great. | | minibus (19), Gatineau, Quebec | | February 14, 2006 I went to Chambly to visit Unibroue brewery, but a guide told me about that new brew pub and let me tell you, that was a great visit. The beer museum by itself derve a visit. The staff is highly knowledgeable and accomodating. All the beers where great and you could see that the owner is passionate about beers. Prices are relatively cheap. One of my favorite brew pub overall. | | Lubiere (94), Ottawa, Ontario | | December 31, 2005 I enjoy this place everytime I go there. Nice breweriana collection, very nice setting and location. Summertime patio after biking. Nicolas is an excellent brewer, with a good recipe book. Food is good if selection is very basic. The waitress mentionned they may try to have a winter menu. Watch out for that Scotch Ale. | View Page : 1 2 3
