Hit this joint on the way out of town, and was very pleased with the selection. While the actual space isn’t so big, they have a very good selection of Quebec micros, including DDC, Trois Mosquetaires, etc. Service isn’t really a factor at all (if anything a bit frosty), but not intrusive either. Good value, and will happily go back next time I’m in town.

Warning: You speak French here. I can carry on very basic conversation "Avez-vous une..." but if you are here on the wrong day, its only French so be prepared. That having been said, this is an up-and-coming place, and is convenient Northeast of Papineau and Sherbrooke downtown. An impressive large horizontal cooler greats you, and between the main room and the back room, about 7 times 3 shelves of micros. Despite to an ordering by style, I found beers out of place. Certainly preferred those shelves where they were listed by brewer. Many growlers from a couple of brewpubs I did not know.

This place just opened a new back room dedicated solely to Quebec produced micros. Unlike many stores, it is organized by style rather than brewer which is better for the beer enjoying cause. They have an excellent selection of Dieu du Ciel, Charlevoix, and Bieropholie. If one of these brewers has a bottled beer in production and season, you can be sure to find it here assuming its bottled. Very knowledgeable staff and great, spacious layout. A great store indeed.

Best place in Quebec for micros that I’ve found ever. Big props to my brother in law who found this place. New addition in the back is loaded with micros. Tremendous selection and helpful staff. Will be visiting often as it’s only about 5 blocks from my brother in law’s place.

4 day trip to Montreal saw this as the 4th beer store visited. Seems it should have been the first, as I likely could have saved 3 other trips. As I came in work was still being done on what is to be a separate beer room, near the size of the rest of the shop. So far it looks beautiful and the selection is incredible. One of the gentlemen there gave me a ton of excellent recommendations, and even went as far as to go grab a few bottles that weren’t even on shelves yet. Other staff was also helpful, even double checking my receipts to make sure I hadn’t double paid on any bottles (since I bought a ton of singles, with a few doubles thrown in). Selection was very good, including a couple of breweries I couldn’t find a) on tap anywhere b) in stores anywhere on my trip (Bieropholie, Charlevoix). I’ll certainly back next time I’m in Montreal.

Best place in Montreal to get beers from Quebec’s microbrewerys (archaic and shameful laws forbid the sell of international micros). They really do the best they can with those imbecilic laws. Last time I’ve been there, they were building a new section in the back of the store... I love this place. Choice, never overpriced products, they have Corne de Brume, many Bieropholie, even the new Naufrageur half-gallons; they went downstair to get me some that wasn’t on the shelves and that had just arrived and they didn’t know I came from a far on that day! I’ll write again ’cause this store was also beautiful and, with the improvements, it will surely be very surprising. Really the best place for Quebec’s beer in Montreal. Bravo Peluso.

Shelves and shelves full of beer. Probably all the Quebec microbrewers are represented here. Bieropholie, B&F, DDC, Charlevoix, etc.. Prices seem within range of other bottle shops. Service seemed knowledgeable and was efficient. Only thing about it is it’s a bit out of the way but certainly worth the detour!
