| robinvboyer (32), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario | | September 8, 2009 NIce decor, and the patio out front was quite nice, and spacious. The staff was friendly, and happy to pleasee. They only had 4 beers on tap, and they were alll decent, nothing mind blowing, but tasty, and well done. The food selection was pretty bad, just crappy movie style nachos, and hot dogs. Dont go for the food. The beer is simple, but tasty, and i think someone entering the world of craft beer would enjoy it. 鳇e rating d’établissement) | | jerc (143), Toronto, Ontario | | May 2, 2006 Has a rather yuppy sports bar feel to it. Not particularly warm feeling to the place. Beer was disappointing. Oncle Antoine pub we visited lated was a much nicer environment, albeit with Sleeman on tap! Was told I was getting the blonde, rousse, and blanche. Didn’t realise until later that the beers had names. Maybe because she didn’t want to translate? I dunno. Pretty jammed on a thursday night. | | LadySusan (77), Ste-Therese, Quebec | | March 14, 2006 This place is so comfortable, the bar seats are the best. The beers are good but not the greatest, but just to relax and have a good beer I like this place a lot. | | Quevillon (139), Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec | | January 3, 2006 [ Updated September 27, 2009 ] Visited 25 spetembre 2009 for the first time since his move from Old Port to Grande-Allée. It looks a bit like the one from Old Port, but a bit smaller and cleaner. The terrace is better and more comfortable than the other, and if you are in to people waching, sit there. The interior is warmer than the other, but it is still a tourist pub. The beer has not changed, simple but drinkable! | | legion242 (79), Richardson, Texas | | September 16, 2005 Was here on my honeymoon 4 years ago. Not real impressed. As mentioned, a strange interior. Service at first was really good with a friendly bartender that we talked music with but he suddenly turned surly. Did I fart? | | Ungstrup (245), Frederiksberg, Denmark | | August 26, 2005 Interior with a weird bar - not very cozy - and sitting outside on the patio is just as bad, as it feels like you’re sitting in a parking lot. Only 4 beers on tap, service OK, but I had a little hard time finding out the precise names of the beers. | | jbrus (110), Delft, Netherlands | | August 12, 2005 Quite modern interior. Didn’t expect that. Had a nice chat with the brewer. Beer selection is ok. Had a pleasant but short time there. Oh ... don’t try to park your Motorhome somewhere in the neighbourhood. This is near to impossible or you pay the main price at the harbour like we did. | | Rastacouere (475), Montréal, Quebec | | July 29, 2005 [ Updated November 26, 2007 ] Ugly-looking pub with a small selection, season-inspired. Nothing stunning, but efficient I guess. Friendly service, if short and business-like. Terrace on the parking. Don’t go out of your way to get here, but the neighborhood is nice, so you may want to stop anyway.brbr A visit in the winter showed a very busy place at night where only 4 beers were offered. Altogether clean, but not very daring while the brewer assuredly got the skills to do good if he had a white card. | | tiggmtl (117), Vancouver, British Columbia | | July 17, 2005 Dark brasserie-like interior. Stark, baking in the sun terasse that is really just a deck in a corner of the parking lot. Some greenery might make this more hospitable. Prompt smiling service. Beers fully explained and we were asked whether we wanted fruit on the glass for the blanche. Small selection of decent beers. Nothing stood out as particularly great or particularly terrible but all were well-made if unexciting. Worth a stop if in the area... |
