Lovely olde worlde pub in the centre of Shrewsbury opposite a fine old church. The beer selection was impressive with seven real ales plus ciders and perries available and the ones that I had both from Purple Moose were in tip top condition, the barman certainly knew his stuff and was pleasant enough but sadly lacked character and wouldn’t really ever engage in conversation.
