Nice set up, spread out with places for all ages and food, an expansive bar seating and a place to watch local games.

They only have about 20 taps, but they are all microbrews. I got a 10 glass sampler for $10, I was later told that it was supposed to cost $12, but I was only charged $10. Each sampler glass was very small, only about 2 ounces.

This place was quite enjoyable, very laid back attitude and it wasn’t terribly busy. Our server was very fast, efficient and attentive, seemed decently knowledgeable as well. Enjoyed some extremely tasty brews such as Hopsickle and Hop Lava here. The food was quite tasty as well. Hope to visit this nice little bar again soon.

I enjoy this place thoroughly, the beer selection is good, service was quick and friendly. They do fun things like Beer Brawl, and other themed tastings. The food was enjoyable, and well priced. I don’t often find myself here but everytime I do I am glad I came back.

Upon entering you are greeted by this giant, wooden door that I thought was really cool. The interior was simple, wood furniture with the walls on the bare side, with a purposely subtle array of beer memorabilia on the walls. A tap list containing maybe a dozen to 15 brews. Some pretty common and a handful of rare/hard to find stuff. Lots of bottles, but they didn’t have a written list of what they had so I had to do the best I can looking over the bar to see what was available. Food prices were a little on the high side I thought. I ended up with a basket of fries and buffalo tossed chicken tenders which was just perfect. The tenders and sauce were just as good as Fire On The Mountain’s and the fries were really were better. I’d be interested to try some other things are on the menu next time to see if they are worth the prices.

Basic place, free pool. Great selection, not only lots of local stuff, but also good Belgian selection. Co owner Jason was friendly and very helpful. Great place.

Walking into this place is a little strange....it feels very much like walking through someones wide, empty living room and finding a bar at the end of it. Regardless, everyone seems friendly and relaxed.

Portland’s premier drinking destination, no doubt. I feel kinda jammed in when I go - place is oddly shaped. The locals, of course, are very friendly and the ambiance is comfortable and unassuming. Very, very local.

Well, when you drive up, the sign looks pretty hokey. Corny ’80s flourescent. Don’t drive by. It’s a great place. They don’t push too hard to make it into something it isn’t; it has picnic tables and small bathrooms and no decorations it doesn’t need. Plenty of good bottles, plenty of good faucets, taps rotating, lines clean, *great* pub grub, totally fair prices. Happy to go back again and again. Right down the block from the McMin’s Kennedy School, which I still need to try, and will.

Was only able to spend a short time here, but that time was enjoyable. Excellent selection of beers that I got impression changes frequently. Staff was quite knowledgeable about the selection of beers. We only had some fries, but those were nice and hot and well done. Too bad I don’t live closer!
