Has a weird decor - part trendy upscale look, part old fashioned pub vibe - and I’m not sure that it all mixes well. The clientele was young and diverse and the music was loud, and people there seemed like regulars. The food and beer were fine, but the prices were high (not surprising I guess for a brewpub chain in the heart of the city). Nothing about the experience made me think, "wow, we really need to come back here someday!" but I wouldn’t be opposed to going again if a friend wanted to do so. Oh, and there were fruitflies in one of the beers in the sampler - it was replaced, but we were still charged full price. A bit of a surprise.

Fairly formulaic - the beer range isn’t that fantastic, and the food isn’t out of the ordinary, but it’s a pleasant enough place to stop by.

Fairly big (dare I say cavernous) restaurant across from the Eaton Centre. The touristy location seems about right as the beers are mostly accessible but nothing wild, the food is on the bland side and the bang for the buck is limited. Not a terrible place, but hardly a destination.

Came here on a business trip so wasn't too bothered about the price but found it reasonable. Food was decent, had the sampler flight of beers that were quite nice. It was very busy for a Monday night, so I imagine it's busy most evenings.

Visited November 2, 2012. Why do I keep coming back here? Well, it’s close to where I work, and I keep hoping "it’ll be better this time". On this day, I decided to take notes and give it the drubbing it deserved, but to be fair, it’s not a terrible place. Just not all that special, as other reviewers here have noted. It’s a huge two-level dark wood & brick room, packed for a Friday lunchtime, and my server Emily was very pleasant. There was no feeling of this solo diner being ignored. The nachos here were nicely baked, but what about onion rings that come with a plastic packet of "Honey Spread" - what’s THAT all about? And what about those copper kettles sitting over there? I began with the 6% seasonal Munich beer - their take on Oktoberfest - served in a tall pint glass. It was fresh, cold and had that hint of an indescribable gassy taste and odour that is in every beer I’ve ever had here. The Oktoberfest, by virtue of having less of it than their White, Blonde, Amber or Brown suds, is the best-tasting of the batch. Next up was a small sized Harvest Ale. At 5.8% and "created from 100% Ontario-grown hops", it was the Beer of the Month for November. It was definitely darker in colour than its portrait on the table display indicated, but I can say that it was relatively tasty and pleasant. The seasonals are, in my experience, far superior to the regular beers brewed here. I finished off with a 6.2% "Dense, delicately bitter" Amber, which signalled a return to the Gassy Side. This is a loud room, and large screen videos featured Fat Boy Slim, Selena Gomez, and, yikes, Shania Twain. It’s not an essential stop for beer fans in Toronto, but if you’re keen to see the "That Don’t Impress Me Much" video from way back when after you are done visiting the Eaton Centre across the street, then come in and enjoy yourself.

Was here when I was just getting into craft beer. Busy, commercial place but considering the other business-oriented places around it wasn’t bad at all. Their beers were okay, nothing special, and prices were in line with the neighbourhood. Service was good though, friendly and professional. Overall a nice decor and service but it won’t get a beer lover very excited.

Chain brewpub but done very nicelly. Grreat interior design. This place is usually busy but service I had was mostly very good. Solid proces , good food. Underrated due to stigma of 3 Brasseurs.

Check it ot with my father and brother within a few months of it opening. Ive been to a few in montreal so i knew waht to expect. Same tacky decor, but they are pretty consistant for good service. Typical pedestrian beers, and the food is so so. I had the pigs feet and they were quite good, the food is decent, but its not goi g to win any awards. The kind of place in my mind, you go once, and you dont need or think of going back.
