Tucked away in a strip on Westport Road, Boozefish is a quieter bar with a great eclectic selection of off the beaten path beers. The food is above what you would expect, the server seemed knowledgeable about the beers. Overall I was impressed and will return.

Visited Saturday June, 9 2007. I went with friends, and was surprised by the large selection of bottled beers as I had thought of this as mostly a wine bar. This is NOT the answer to the beer bar in Kansas City question, but it is a great choice if you are heading out with folks who love wine. I had the cheese and sausage platter to go along with my Adnams Broadside Strong Original and Cooper’s Pale Ale. There were probably 14 beers I had not rated on the beer list, and another 5 or 6 that I have, but really love. Draft beer selection is mostly Boulevard.
