| 22415brewery (19), redmond, Washington | | November 2, 2009 I always thought that beer was suppose to be a little bit cheaper at the source? I mean c’mon though, it’s Rogue and it’s good. As much as I disagree with their pint pricing, it’s a beautiful thing to enjoy one of their fine ales on a cold and windy fall day. Like most Portland establishments, this is a fine example of comfortable, cozy, and laid-back. They know they make fine ales and there is never a feeling that they know it. | | KyotoLefty (132), Kyoto, Japan | | September 12, 2009 I had a great time here, but I must admit it was a bit of a letdown. Most of the beers, especially the Imperial series, that I was hoping to try were not on that day, and there was nothing on the handpump. Our waitress was very friendly and competent and the food was decent. I was disappointed at the beers on tap, though, since most were readily available ones. Also, somehow I couldn’t help but feeling that freshness doesn’t help their beers. | | can8ianben (68), Pasadena, California | | September 8, 2009 Had a big garage sale going on while we visited Portland. Ah, if only I could take a case of beer on the airplane with me! The pub was pretty nice - a big list of Rogue offerings on tap, as well as some of their affiliated microbreweries. They also had a few guest beers on tap, and even one or two on cask. We didn’t try any food. The wait staff was friendly, although somewhat overwhelmed with the business of the Friday evening. | | matta (91), Tampa, Florida | | August 20, 2009 Very centrally located and in a nice area of town. The pub grub was rather tasty and well done. The Rouge beer selection was about as extensive as it gets. Even had some rare bottles like the 12oz Imperial Chocolate Stout…which lived up to it’s name. After several tasty brews, I switched to the home made Rogue Spruce Gin with a splash of soda. YUMMM! | | Rastacouere (475), Montréal, Quebec | | July 14, 2009 A three-sided establishment (restaurant, distillery and pub) just by the hip brewery district, close to Deschutes and other must on your Portland tour. Just about 25 different Rogue beers on tap, you know what to expect and they almost definitely serve it here. Attentive service, the staff seems to have character. Beer sensitive crown, comfortable atmosphere, undeniably a pub, already feeling like it has an history attached to it. A classic, but perhaps not a must if you’re only into discoveries. | | wilsomb (29), State College, Pennsylvania | | June 25, 2009 I don’t really have to say much. It’s already been said. Go to Rogue. Join the Rogue Nation. You won’t be disappointed! | | YogiBeera (109), Hamburg, Germany | | January 12, 2009 I love it! Nice feeling in there- love the red british telephone box for the cell phone people and the service is quite nice. Well - actually if you are a woman- LOL. (and no...I didnt play on that. The food was average. The beer is amazing. I wish it was right here - it would be my bar! | | phishpond417 (51), Madison, Wisconsin | | August 31, 2008 Visited here in 2006, awesome place. So many brews on tap it’s unthinkable. Portland is a great place to sit down and have a fresh cold beer. If you make it it town, check out the Rogue Public House
. | | BiddleBrau (33), Midland Park, New Jersey | | August 21, 2008 What I’d expect from a Rogue pub. Old building charm, lots of Rogues on taps with a handful of guest handles. Took the 2:00 distillery tour to sample their rums and gin. I’ll stick to their tastey brews.
| rthbass (6), Vancouver, Washington does not count - explanation | | August 17, 2008 [ Updated September 18, 2008 ] Pretty good pub. Very good beer! |
