The Granite Brewery & Tied House

I think the food was okay what I need here once or twice, and the service was fine, acceptable. The beers of granites don’t really do it for me, neither does the ambience of the place. I guess it’s a "British pub thing". Just not my thing!

Love this place! Have visited several times when on business in Toronto. Relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. Always a good range of beers to choose from. Taster flights available. Food menu varied and interesting with weekly specials. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious.

An early lunch on our way to the Hockey Hall of Fame. Had to go for the iconic Old Peculiar and even had two of them.

Nice pub with very average beer. More like a local with most beers tending towards the english styles. They do have quite a few beers on offer though and you are likely to find one or two you like.

The ambience in this place ok but the place just seemed really dated. It seemed more like a restaurant that just happened to also brew its own beer, which was not that good. The food and service was excellent.

I got married here and the staff were great. food is good quality and has everything one expect from a pub. they have generic guest bottles. the beers can be slightly more filtered than they need to be and they are definately more english styled beer but they do have seasonals that are tasty! great spot in a more quiet part of town.

Old school pub. Great selection, good quality, you can’t go wrong here.

Luckly located across the street from my hotel for Grey Cup 2012. Not very busy on a Wednesday night. Friendly service very helpful but not pushy or hovering. Had the sample tray and a pint with a lamb burger and soup. Took a growler back to the hotel.

Really like this place, but have never been during a busy time, so my ambience notes aren’t complete.
