A small privately owned supermarket that something like 40 - 50% of the square footage is dedicated to Wine, Beer, and Spirits. Outside looks like a run-down small grocery store that you’d never guess had an impressive selection of beer (and wine) inside. Their advertising claims they have the largest selection of beer, wine and spirits in St. Tammany Parish. I find that claim very credible, and dare say they probably are in the top 10 in the state of Louisiana for selection of Off-Premise beer. They carry several hundred brands of beer in single bottles, 6-packs and cases. Selection includes rare imports and micros from all over North America. I’ve not seen many of the imports and micros that they carry offered anywhere else in the Gulf South for off-premise. **UPDATE**: My wife spoke to the owner, Adam Acquistapace a couple of days ago. He told her that he has purchased an adjacent abandoned YMCA Gymnasium and is building a third building behind the existing store. He said that the YMCA gym will become the new beer, wine, and liquor department and the new construction will be the meat department. I can hardly wait!! He went on to say that he’s almost 100% sure that his beer and wine selection is the best in the state, but his advertising says best in St. Tammany Parish since he’d hate to make a false claim about best in the state on the outside chance he’s mistaken.
