3 reviews for Angry Hank’s Micro Brewery
| bitbucket (56), Kirkland, Washington | | August 17, 2009 Bars in Montana typically whenever they damn well feel like it and close at 2:00AM. Brewpubs like Angry Hank’s can only be open from 4:00PM to 8:00PM.
Walk into a bar in Montana and you can order pretty much whatever you want to drink. Brewpubs like Angry Hank’s can only serve you three pints max, and the have to have a system to make sure you only get three. Angry Hank’s uses wristbands, other places use cards.
This place is a testament to the brewer’s will to survive in the face of incredibly stupid laws. The vibe is great, the beer is tasty; and I think this is the one and only place I’ve given a 10 for service. Ironically, it is a former service station. Now if Montana could just do something about its archaic laws. | | Tmoney99 (256), Cincinnati, Ohio | | August 7, 2009 Easy to find location on the corner of 24th and 1st. Parking in front and street parking. Clean remodeled service station with bar in the back of garage and fenced patio in the front.
Freindly staff and will work with you to meet state consumption law and tasting of the 9 beers on tap. Good selection and above average brews. I went twice when in town and would recommend as a must stop location. | | jake65 (57), Williston, North Dakota | | August 20, 2008 Fun little place on the corner in downtown Billings. Used to be a gas station, now it’s a microbrewery and taphouse. State law only allows them to be open 4pm to 8pm and serve a max of three pints to any one person. Growlers are available, but not a sampler tray... No food, just popcorn. Server knew a lot about brews, but it’s mostly a young crew. I managed to get my hands on four brews, all were above average and the ’Head Trauma’ IPA was quite good. Neat logo too. Pints were $3... |
