| KnutAlbert (150), Oslo, Norway | | October 8, 2009 Prime location in the centre. Good selection of Belgians, some French artisan beers as well, Belgian food, too.
Quite pricey, but in Paris you pay for the address!
Handy if you are shopping at Cave á Bulles. | | ladnewton (60), London, England | | June 11, 2009 Visited on 22nd November 2008. classic Belgian bar, cosily decked out in wood panelling and lit by a menagerie of hot and cold cathode fluorescent, and tungsten. Comprehensive range of tapped Belgian beers and great quality food. Efficient service, and a buzzing atmosphere. Late opening and, if you speak some French, friendly customers and most staff. Recommended. | | gerome (13), , France | | June 9, 2009 Tourist bar with many beers without atmosphere | Blom (4), Odense, Denmark does not count - explanation | | May 6, 2009 Take a saison here after you’ve visited the Nôtre Dame and Saint Shapelle. Cosy place, especially at the bar, with a small but otherwise good selection of Belgian beers. | | goatboy (16), Alberta | | February 5, 2009 I visited this place a few times, super friendly & helpful staff even if your french is not up to par. Good selection of Belgians with the proper glassware, great place to stop by for lunch if your shopping in the area. and yes those "moules-frites" are good!, I found Gulden Draak, Chimay westmalle and a few french brews to name a few, the place has a fair amount of of tourists, but who cares your drinking great beer in Paris! | | berkshirejohn (79), Bracknell, England | | January 29, 2009 A good selection of Belgian beers in bottles and on tap; very quiet and lacking atmosphere. | ciccione (6), , Switzerland does not count - explanation | | January 24, 2009 Nice belgians beers selection:20 beers on tap and 100 bottles. Good address in Paris but lots of tourists! | hubertf (6), , France does not count - explanation | | January 23, 2009 Bonne adresse à Paris. Dédié à la bière et uniquement à la bière . Décor agréable. Les prix sont raisonnables, bière pression à gogo. 20 bières pression! | | JoeinUccle (138), Brussels, Belgium | | February 18, 2008 Impressive beer selection with emphasis on the Belgian ales. About a dozen French beers. It’s a touristy place, yes, but the mussels appeared to be popular with the locals. Interesting toilet is a glorified hole in the floor. | | fiulijn (198), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy | | January 22, 2008 It’s just a tourist place without charme. Yes, they have 20 beers on tap and maybe 100 bottles, just a few common French and more focus on the Belgians (expect some good but fairly common one). I didn’t eat there, but the place smells bad food. Stop here for a good Belgian beer, or walk 100m to the Sous-Bock where you have a more genuine ambiance and a different choice (if you look for less common French beers). |
