Good service, and overall a quite nice and cosy place. Selection was not that big, beers seemed to vary a bit. No trace of breweries mentioned on the chalkboards, but the lady in charge when I visited gladly told which breweries the beers of the moment were from. Only negative about the place is that it is quite on the expensive side of the places in Bamberg, but the weissbeers were in perfect condition.

Nice enough establishment, smallish and cozy compared to Spezial, Schlenkerla, etc., but the beer really can’t compare to the 2 aforementioned classics, imho. Everything is well-done, but there is no personality in what I have tasted. I didn’t get anything particularly Franconian here, yet I didn’t leave dissatisfied.

This is a cosy place. Very cheap rooms. You can be able to sleep close to the source of wheat beer in Bamberg. Nice food here as well. Breakfast included!
