punkrkr27 | Clean and nice location. Solid beer selection with lots of seasonals and specials. Great pizza and appetizers. Knowledgeable staff. Can’t imagine there could be any place better than this in Greenville.

| ksurkin | best place in greenville to get beer. honestly, the best selection i’ve seen in a while. only bar outside of New York to carry Brooklyn Blast IPA on tap! not to mention the rest of their great taps. the beer samplers are sweet. pizza is outstanding, and the spinach salad is a great way to start your meal. this place is a must if you find yourself in wonderful greenville, sc.

walter | Similar to my experience with the Asheville Barley’s. Located in Greenville’s pretty hip downtown, packed to the gills on a Friday night. Sidewalk seating is available, which is pretty ideal for drinking way into the wee hours-- more quiet and cool than indoors. Lots of great beer on tap, split between two bars, but you can’t get beer from the upstairs bar if seated downstairs, a real bummer. Attentive service from the wait staff, though the hostess was a bit out of it. Decent pizza. Fun place.

NachlamSie | This is the biggest Barley’s and it’s also in good shape. It’s in a nice downtown area. There are plenty of beers to try here, mainly micros from around the area. I think the frustrating 6% law and the distributors prevent the beer selection from being better than it is, but it’s definitely satisfactory. There are plenty of pool tables upstairs which are spread out nicely and some dart boards as well.

I’d just like to add that I’ve visited here since SC raised the 6% lmit. Barley’s is going nuts already. Nearly half of their selection was dedicated to higher alcohol craft brews on my visit. This did seem to subtract from some regional stuff, but, I’d say the newer lineup of beers is of much higher quality.
