17 reviews for Beers Of Europe
BigDUK (9), , England does not count - explanation | | August 28, 2009 Via Online store - Ordered 24 bottles yesterday before 12 noon, they arrived at 0800 today. Awesome. Website is fairly easy to get around, could do with a lick of paint but is practical and it works. Selecting is legion, Argentina to Vietnam and nearly every country in-between. Sections for ciders/wines/spirits, homebrew, new products, gift packs/cards and mixed selections. Prices are reasonable, and seem to match the beers obscureness. Recommended to me by a mate and I’d defo do the same | | SilkTork (58), Rochester, England | | June 6, 2009 Best online beer store in the UK. Indispensable. | | MagnumPI (11), , England | | May 30, 2009 Getting more expensive but best choice of beers in the UK surelyI..The service and aftercare is brilliant. I want to work here | | gary07734 (23), , England | | May 7, 2009 Bought a batch of 23 belgians online, including some good Struise beers that are very hard to come accross in the UK. Good selection of Belgians, and plenty of random world lagers. A few big north american beers. Delivery and prices are reasonable. Well packed. | azlondon (8), Fribourg, Switzerland does not count - explanation | | September 15, 2008 [ Updated September 23, 2008 ] Only ordered from them online, 5-6 times so far. Very good selection, and the prices are not too bad. Packaging very good, and only once was two bottles broken. This was due to the delivery man dropping the box. BoE refunded the two bottles promptly and they respond to email quickly. Overall very satisfied with them. | REDBOSOX (3), Vineyard Haven, Massachusetts does not count - explanation | | June 11, 2008 Derrick and his family are VERY friendly and we have traded beers on many occasions. I have made sure to help bring business to them. You’ll pay bar prices for the beer, but the selection is more than worth it. Take the A10 north to Setchey (town just before King’s Lynn) and take a left at the JSW car sales place. The warehouse is on the right. It’s what I call a beer shrine. I ALWAYS walk out with a shopping cart full of beer. This is a MUST visit place! | | downender (116), Bristol, England | | December 31, 2007 I ordered two cases from Beers of Europe. They turned up rapidly and were very well packed with plenty of polystyrene pellets protecting the glass. Prices were reasonable. Wide range from breweries including Cantillon, De Dolle, Abbaye des Rocs, Dupont, St Bernardus, Unibroue, St Georgen and Kloster Andechs. Not quite sure how to score it for ambiance, but well recommended. | Olly (1), Bowburn, England does not count - explanation | | October 24, 2007 Warehouse just of the A10 at Setchey (2 miles from A47) stacked with a fantastic array of beers most especially English and Belgian. Staff were pleasant. No ambiance - who cares?! The selection is so good! I will most definitely be back. | | Fin (99), Merton, England | | May 1, 2007 Staggering selection of beers, particularly good on English and Belgian beers, though others have mentioned also good range of American micros and German beers. Good choice of glassware and when I’ve ordered online from them was also impressed with delivery weel packaged and arrived swiftly. Easy enough to find just 2 miles or so south of Kings Lynn at Setcheley on the A10 if memory serves me correct. | | MrGrumpy (13), Crawley, England | | October 29, 2006 I’ve never seen a warehouse like it with A huge selection of bottled beers from all over the world, not just Europe. I struggled to think of a bottled beer that wasn’t available. Very friendly and helpful service. Managed to fill the boot with my favourite Schlenkerla, Fruh Dom and some good American micros. Well worth visiting if you’re in the Kings Lynn are. |
