I must echo all of the previous praises for this great establishment. We had pizzas and a couple of appetizers, and the food and service were both excellent. As for the beer, they do now have detailed menus-but I didn’t need one as the owner (Manuele) set me up with a six beer sample as soon as I walked in and gave a description of each. They serve a hand picked selection of only the best Italian beers, all were excellent. We had talked only very briefly at the Football Pub (his sister venture across the street) about the virtues of the 2006 Lou Pepe Cantillon draft I was enjoying, but our reception at Bir and Fud was as if we’d been long time friends. This was certainly a great beginning to our week in Rome. The Football Pub opens at 5:30 or so. Go there and then get to Bir and Fud for dinner at 7:30, you’ll love it.

A perfect match with "Ma che siete venuti a fà" across the street. A very competent and always updated selection of th best Italian beers at draught: Baladin. Troll, Del Borgo, Birrificio Italiano, Ducato, Birrificio di Lambrate etc. etc. and many Italian and Belgian bottles in the cellar. Staff is competent and available to give you info on beers and food. A special mention for Aleandro, who exploits his multiyear US experience.

Fantastiic place, great food, awesome italian beers, the guys are nice and friendly, definitely worth a visit.

Excellent food, very good beers, limited selection (I actually don’t think this is a negative point for this place) I loved the "Re Ali", very tasty chicken wings whose name remembers the name of the beer. The staff is actually not so nice. Very prepared, I have to say, but not so friendly. A pity, because if it wasn’t so, this place would have been almost perfect.

Nice place, nice beers. I like the pizza sometimes. Expensive but hey you’re in Trastevere! Good selection on tap. Nice ambience. Overall a nice place to go and taste Italian beers. Sometimes. Some english speaking staff. Actually some of the staff is great, others are not even worth writing about =)

Excellent pizza and innovative appetizers, not your typical Roman tourist fare. No pasta here! 12-18 fresh Italian microbrews on tap, changing regularly. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable about the beer, and don’t mind answering you in English.

The great food-"twin" of Machesiete... great selection of about 18 italian draught beers, many many bottles, exciting and innovative food, and the best pizza... the perfect dinner in Trastevere!

Wow... what a place... Only Italian micros, about 16 taps, 4 pumps, and a list of over 100 bottles with some vintage stuff. Friendly and extremely knowledgeable staff. The "Fud" was great and the "Bir" was awesome. Good job!

if you like to eat and drink beers this is one of the best places I found in Italy. Just italian artisanale beers.

Good italian craft beers and food selection (particular roman pizza and supplì). A wonderful palce in the Roma’s center.
