I went here because I had a $25 gift certificate. I had the Blackened Ahi Tuna Sandwich, served rare, which was good and filling. The service was very friendly and quick. But I came here for the beer and it’s awful. The selection? 4 House, 3 Guest... Their Pale Ale is a fair drink, but I followed it with a guest brew. Plus, the interior of the restaurant is so boring and unattractive and I couldn’t sit outside because the area was closed. One more thing... It cost $7 to park AFTER validation, using their parking available. I’m never returning to this place and I live within five miles of it.

This isn’t a bad place as far as the bar goes, by LA standards it’s fairly cheap and the service is friendly. It’s a nice enough place to hang out and get lunch or dinner, good food at reasonable prices. The only downside is that the house beers are all absolutely terrible, they taste watered down, they lack any flavor other than that of CO2, shame really because if the beers had been ok I would definitely have recomended the place.

What a hard place to find, if you haven’t figured out, that it is situated on the fourth floor of the World Trade Center/Bonaventura Hotel. Arriving we’d worked up quite a sweat walking from the metrostation with two heavy suitcases (full of beer) each, so when we finally arrived and sat at the fourth floor garden, not too far from the pool we were thirsty. The setting, sitting like in a garden in downtown LA on the fourth floor looking at the skyscrapers is quite nice. They had 4 beers on draft - of which I don’t know if the strawberry blonde was brewed on premises. I had a wonderful and very filling Blackened Ahi Tuna Sandwich. The service was nice, reasonable fast, and informative about the beers.

Not a bad place - they have OK brews for a corporate establishment. Had the GF Nut Brown and Flank - food was good, and this was nice.

The awesome Bonaventure Hotel is the setting. The fourth floor is the place. The BBC has an outdoor patio that’s got great ambiance and an indoor dining room that’s all dark wood and brass and flatscreen TVs with sports. The staff is friendly and attentive. The menu is varied and the dishes I had with my friend ranged from pretty ok to pretty good. Their beer is nothing special, sadly. It’s the weakest link in this chain.

Inside the Westin, so that’s good. The food is above average for a brewing co., so that’s good. MAN the taps are awful! All the beers are watery, and the guest taps are really quite average.

Service was a little slow due to our arrival happening just after their busiest time of night. The waitress forgot part of our order but they corrected it and actually picked up the check for us. The beer wasn’t amazing but it was good and the food was excellent. We stumbled upon this place by accident, but if I’m ever in the neighbourhood again I might stop by.

Ales at the top of the city. Bar food was just excellent. If you stay downtown, it’s a must visit. Especially as you may not need a designated driver. Good brews.

Sat outdoors. Terrific, dry, sunny day (hey, in southern california it’s a constant which means it’s part of the atmosphere). Nice view of L.A. Great salad and sandwich. Service was scarce. The beer was good, but not great. Consistent, at least. The Pale Ale was their best offering.

Nice place to sit back and have a beer. The deck has a wonderful view of downtown LA and the weather is great! The food is excellent - I particularly recommend the ahi tuna sandwich. Unfortunately, the beer is only okay. They have their brews and not much else (maybe one or two guests), and I found them mediocre. The Pale Ale is their best, and the Stout is not bad, but I wasn’t impressed with anything else.
