This is the beer store to go to if you are in the Reno/Tahoe area. If the distributor carries it these guys will have it on their shelves. Most beers are in coolers. They also host free tasting sessions ever few months. Also have a good selection of wines and liquor.

This review is based on dropping in once or twice a year, while gambling in their casinos. Very easy to find with a huge sign out front. Inside, they have beer in both a cooler and isle shelves. The have a very nice selection of beers with a strong Euro influence on their stock. In the walk-ins you can find some beers to check off the hard to find state of Nevada, plus a few other gems. Nice store. Decent prices too. Oh, they let you break up bottles into single purchases which is very nice.

A decent sized store with a large selection of West Coast micro brews and European beers. You can also make your own six pack which allowed me to pick up some singles of the local micro brews. I will visit again.

Was there in August of 2007. For a cultural desert such as Reno, this place was a pleasant diversion. The selection was a mix of PNW beers, a few local NVmicros, a decent selection of Brit and German and some fairly common Belgians. They do have free tastings, which is a plus.

I read a couple of the other reviews that remarked on the selection. As someone who used to work for a large distribution company, these guys have the best selection in the state. Along with that, they have regular beer tasting where there is no charge. The employees know what they are talking about from beer and wine to spirits. This is very unlike the BevMo’s of California. Considering the Nevada environment they are in, this company has gone out of their way to stand out from the typical liquor store.

This place is awesome! The service was great. They have every beer that is available in their area, and they do tastings. I attended a very informative workshop on Belgian style beers at the shop hosted by a professional beer judge. I had a great time, got great service and didn’t feel like I was walking into a crappy liquor store. Speaking of which they also have a great selection of Single Malt Scotches, Vodkas and wines. Along with quite a few specialty liqueurs and other spirits. They have a website at www.boozebros.com where people can order.

Nice bright good looking liquor store with wide aisles. The service was good. The beer selection was pretty darn good. If you’re looking for beer in Reno this looks like the place to go.

It has the best beer selection in Reno. If you’re from some place that already has a good beer selection it wont be that interesting, but it’s a great place for locals to buy. They have rogue, lost coast, north coast, a good selection of west coast brews, standard belgium and german beers, some trappists, etc. Not a bad place to shop.

This place is new in Reno and has the larget beer selection in northern Nevada. They provide six packs for you to assemble your own six pack. They have tons of Rogue and other Oregon brewery beers as well as many northern CA microbeers. They have the typical amount of European imports available and all the macros for the ignorant. Not only do they have beer, but they have a nice wine selection and a pretty large liquor selection as well. In one of the corners, there is a wine bar where you can sample wines and be informed about beer or wine from the friendly bartender. The staff is friendly and happy to be there. They have t-shirts with their logo for sale as well. Worth a trip. I picked up some Rogue stuff that I can’t get in Boise as well as some other goodies. See website.
