I really enjoyed this place. Parking was a hassle, but once we got in there, we were quite impressed. A very nice and clean brewpub, with a higher class menu compared to other brewpubs. I just ordered the burger, but it was pretty good. The beer was very good overall, with eight selections on tap. Good service as well. I would certainly come back.

Parking = a block and a half away. I walked in with a friend and waited, the receptionist avoided eye contact for about 5 minutes while she was on the phone. No "just a minutes" or hand gestures, we just stood there. So we decided to seat ourselves. Apparently the relatively empty tables were a sign that we’d be an inconvenience, we just didn’t find that out until our waitress came around. Well the beer was good, the food expensive for the portion and quality, so that part is right around par. I’ll try again another time, but I was dissapointed to say the least. I did see A.C. Wharton and Ford Jr. in there whilst I dined. SECOND TRIP: Service was much friendlier, more attentive and generally better. I have changed my scores accordingly taking the average of the two trips individually. The food is still quite expensive for the portions and quality. I don’t pay for nicely decorated food on plates.

I really liked thi splace. The service was top notch- friendly as hell and very attentive. The selection gets high marks for just that- a nice selection of their own beers with a good diversity. 8 taps when I was there. Food is above standard for a brewpub, but the beers were obviously well done. Didn’t quite jnow what to expect of their signature Stone beer, but it was great. Even the regulars were freindly, wanting to know why I was writing notes and then asking all about the site, etc.

Some of the beers are good, some are not. The Hefewiesen is excellent. The food is quite good, they have an old style brick pizza oven and just quality food in general. Very tasty. There’s not really enough bar space, but there is plenty of table seating, both indoors and outdoors. Make it a point to go during the week, when they open the cask ales. They don’t have the cask ales on the weekends.

I try to get to Boscos as often as possible. Food is a bit overpriced for what you get, but the beer and service makes up for it tenfold. The staff appears to make it a point to get to know everyone in the place.

Beer is average, but there are 6 regulars and 3 seasonals, so there’s a good bit to sample. The atmosphere is very nice, the patio is nice. I take it this is Memphis’ Art District or something. I spent a brisk evening on the patio and it occurred to me that this would be a good place to take a date. The food wasn’t all that great. The bar area was packed and very chummy, drafts were $4. Some additional notes, in retrospect and after additional visits: The bar gets crowded. The food is a bit pricey, and restaurant is laid out a bit clumsily. If you’ve been to the Boscos in Nashville, then be ready for a step down -- the food, beer, service, parking and ambiance aren’t quite up to the Nashville par.

The food is the same as is Nashville and the brews are somewhat different. All three locations carry some of the same, but each has its own as well. It is much smaller than Nashville. Bought 2 bombers($7.50 ea) of bottle conditioned brews to bring home for a later tasting.
