| Rune (91), Tromsø, Norway | | December 4, 2009 Almost just around the corner from Lemkes Spezialitätenbrauerei and easy to spot from the K. Liebknecht Strasse. They offer a Bierprobe of four hand crafted beers, among them the seasonal Festbier, which had a fresh and succulent malt-fruity taste. Quite typical German Kneipe. A bit slow, but otherwise satisfying service. Nice Christmas decorations (visited 23.11.2009). | | Theis (80), , Denmark | | November 14, 2009 Big and boring place - easy to find. Average beers, busy service, the food is ok - german - soup, susage, you know. | | mcdav2154 (10), , Germany | | November 10, 2009 Visited on 6 Nov 2009. Atmosphere was pretty good but the "mall" type area it’s in kind of takes away from it. Selection is 3 beers plus a seasonal beer. Service was good. I didn’t eat but the food looked typical of a brewpub. .5l glass will cost you 3.40 euro. | | downender (116), Bristol, England | | October 12, 2009 Visited during a very wet afternoon, where it proved a decent place to spend a couple fo hours in the dry. Tge beers are sampled were decent enough, the Leberkase tasty and service efficient. A solid location to visit. | | Dorqui (43), Brescia, Italy | | June 1, 2009 Refined brewpub near Alexanderplatz. Much elegant inside with wide possibility to be based. Rich menu, multilanguage, with optimal plates of the German and Berliner typical kitchen. Great assortment of draft beers (I had the fortune to taste the Saison of the house) with discreet chosen also of beers in bottle. Staff kind and available often having to find itself with foreigners. | | chriso (164), London, England | | April 7, 2009 [ Updated November 20, 2009 ] A very modern looking place from the outside. Not that I realised that at first as I approached it from within the shopping centre, not realising it had its own entrance just round the corner. Inside, however, they go for wood and tiles in a rather traditional style. Beers are OK but not spectacular. Handy for Alexanderplatz so I, popped in a few times during the course of my week in Berlin and it always seemed to be doing a decent trade. Food looked OK but I didn’t eat. | | nate2g (154), Brisbane, Australia | | December 26, 2008 Visited on a rainy day in September. An average beer range with simple German pub fare being served. Worth checking out to sample some new brews for your ratings. | | KnutAlbert (150), Oslo, Norway | | July 3, 2008 By all means try the sanpler if you are passing by, but this is not worth going out of the way for. Very safe, very dull Good sausages. | | gnoff (127), Göteborg, Sweden | | June 8, 2008 In ’GBG Germany’ listed as pub number 11 in Mitte, on page 446. Located close to Alexanderplatz, the building and it’s sign lloks outside as a rip off of Planet Hollywood. The sample plate in dark wood is real nice, fits the three regular house beers, one special and a small bowl of caramel malt for nibbling. The beers were all OK, not amazing and not bad. Food was plenty and OK, a bit too dry on the pork nuckel. Our waiter started out refusing to speak English, but warmed up a little later on. He did seem sto look more comfortable as a bouncer than a waiter though. English menus available. A bit touristy and not a must see at all. | | ekstedt (46), Göteborg, Sweden | | June 8, 2008 An average brewpub, nice view of the Alexander Platz, a bit hectic and noisy perhaps. Not the friednliest and fastest service. Typical german brewpub selction with 4 homebrews on tap and very few bottled beers. |
