What a great store! Staff was very helpful! I was in a hurry and he jumped in to help me fill my order! What a selection. My biggest disappointment was that I had such a short time to visit and there was so much to see!

I first visited here about a year ago, and they had been open about 6 months. At the time,I think Jason told me that they had about 350-400 beers. But the beers that they had were first class, with a superior collection of Belgians.pMy most recent visit, on June 13, the selction ahd more than doubled. One of the best things is the selection of growlers from local brewers. If there is Belgian available in NC that he doesn’t have, I would be surprised. pThis is exclusively a beer store, somewhat of a rarity. Beers are beautifully displayed, certainly the best I’ve seen, and I’ve been to some good ones. pFinally, Jason, the co-owner (I’ve not met his wife) is really a great guy, very knowledgeable and helpful. I overheard him helping someone who nothing about beer get together some beers as a gift. Everything he told her was spot on correct without any B.S.pIf you’re within 100 miles of Asheville, this place is worth visiting, even without all of the other great beer destinations in this great town.

Nice beer store, I was able to buy a bunch of stuff I can’t get in California. The lights are dim and the lights are out in the cooler. It is interesting that there was not a bad beer in the place even the low end stuff was decent. Was able to pick up a bunch of Dieu Du Ciel beers. The staff was knowledgeable, helped a couple of people while I was there after listening to their needs an suggesting several different beers. Got a free glass as well. A MUST visit when in Asheville.

Great store! Met Jay. Awesome selection of local stuff along with Belgian and German beers (and Danish, etc.). Picked up some stuff to take to the beach and may stop back on the way back North for some impossible to find beers in PA. Got my free glass after spending over $50. Decent prices and a must visit.

This place is really great! Been there a few times but finally caught the owners there today and picked up a ton of stuff. Great selection, particularly of Belgian stuff. Felt like a kid in a candy store. Well organized with bulk in the storeroom, so it’s easy to browse and see all they have. Also nice selection of local stuff, and very pleased to see growlers of Pisgah and French Broad stuff. Very friendlyeven send me away with a drinking glass! Will be back every time I’m in Asheville, I’m sure. Thanks, Jason and Julie, for opening such a great store!

So far I have only been once, but its a great place. A wide range selection of all different types of beers, with good service, the guy working seem to really know what he was talking about. Cant wait to check out this place again!

Very nice balance between a big selection and a well thought out selection. They certainly didn’t carry everything, but what they carried was top notch. I really liked the lay out, which made it seem more like a high end wine shop, but it is beer only. A small selection of beer related books are available up front. Very nice beer store. The Pisgah and French Broad beers were a nice find.

This is what a beer store should be. The best thing about Bruisin Ales it they carry local stuff that you can’t find anywhere else. The owners are nice, knowledgeable and passionate about beer.

Great selection, and knowledgeable staff... definitely leans toward Belgians, but a great selection of hard to find beers. Good glasswear selection also.
