2 reviews for Coasters Downtown Draughthouse
| 6ROW (23), corpus christi, Texas | | September 26, 2009 this is place is a oasis is a beer desert. 12 beers on tap, many bottles always changing. good pub food at afair price. | | zizzybalubba (36), Elizabeth City, North Carolina | | August 10, 2007 [ Updated April 5, 2009 ] This is a really nice place, especially for a town this size. They have 29 taps with standards being Guinness, Bass, Rogue Dead Guy, and some Highlands. Others are rotated on a regular basis. Several bottles are also on hand with a constantly changing array to choose from. Most of what is available to them by the distributors can be found here (and in many cases you will not find these beers anywhere else in the area). The food has vastly improved from when they first opened and the specials on Wednesday night are paired with the beer special in most cases. I am a big fan of their non-smoking atmosphere and I do not see that business has suffered because of it. This is not a beer destination like some larger bars, but if you are looking for a good beer and you happen to be in or near Elizabeth City there is no other place to look than Coasters. |
