A bit of a drive for me (40 minutes) but worth checking out. Small pub setting with a separate bar area with a nice large screen TV over the bar. Good beers brewed on the premises on tap and they have growlers available. They had seven beers with the sample platter, which are all good but if you want a really wide selection you are out of luck. The food was really good bar fare and not too expensive, especially for fresh seafood dishes (mostly fried but oh so good!). Great service and very clean. Will go back when I’m in the area.

I love this place. If I lived just a little bit closer I’d basically live here. The beers they brew here and all excellent and the food is mostly always satisfying. If your in the area check it out. You won’t be let down.

Popular place wit the locals, and lots of tourists in the summer. Food is slightly above average, beer is ok, service on a whole is usually not that good, but there are a few employees who stand out and are great. They all seem to be boared and not enjoy working there, but are much moe pleasent when i tried to be pleasent with them. Place is clean, with wood panaling and old pictures of newport. One pool table near the bar, always pretty full on a friday or saturday night. Food and growlers seem a little over priced for what they serve, but the locals have the money for it. My most current visit i had another sampler tray and nachos, and watched the Celts game with a friend. If at the bar, try your best to avoid Jeff the customer. Best beer i had recently was the Winter Warmer.

I was very pumped to go to this place. I drove 30 mins to get a growler. I showed up the hostess was not very nice or helpful. I asked where to get a growler and she looked at me like I had 740 heads, she pointed the bar. Ok im sorry never been here before. Service was rude, the bar tender could care less about giving me a growler. I literally began to get frustrated with the rudeness of this place. On top of that the growlers were 12.00 , which was completely unexpected. The beer was actually only ok and nothing special. I dont mean to bash on this place, but this was an experience that really will hinder my return.

Nice pub decor inside, plenty of parking outside. Friendly staff, good food, good beer. Definitely worth the stop if you’re in the area.

Small English pub like setting. Not overly crowded, but I was there on a weekday. Waitstaff is friendly and the person serving us knew quite a bit about beer. The three beers I sampled were all good to very good. I’ll definitely be back.

Small but nice brewpub. One glitch by our waitress (totally forgot one guy’s beer for 15 minutes) but other than that the service was good, and the staff was very tolerant of us hanging out a bit past closing on a Thursday night. Fair menu, and the food I had was good. Decent beer. I’d go back.

Nice place, a few decent beers among the seven in the sampler (highlight was the Winter Warmer, followed by the IPA), and good service. Our meals were the weak point, though the dessert was tasty. Worth a visit, and I intend to return at some point.

Nice inside (I agree with an English Pub look). Got there ~5pm on a Saturday and they were packed already. Had to wait 20 min for a table which wasn’t bad considering the amount of people there. Decent amount of beers on tap although I found them to be average to below average. Food was good and hit the spot.

Nice place. Reminds me of an English pub without the dart boards and Rugby on television. Their brew was pretty outstanding. I enjoyed the ESB.
