5 reviews for Crown Liquors #6
| sigma23 (10), , Maine | | April 3, 2009 [ Updated April 4, 2009 ] store has great selection of fresh and new release beers. staff is great, very friendly, and have a vast amount of knowledge. free beer tastings every friday night are a super bonus. selection is clean, organized, and doesnt show signs of age like other locations in the area and customer satisfatcion is A+. check this store out first and you wont be disappointed. the NUMBER of beer does not show the quality of the store, but this place is a hit no matter where you look! | | Monroe1ato (11), Indiana | | January 27, 2009 I have been to this store several times for beer. I looked over their selection of micro brews and thought they had a pretty good selection. I had the privilege to visit Party Pak Liquors on East Stop 11 this week. After reading the previous review made me want to state that Crown Liquors #6 does not hold a candle to Pak. As soon as they carry anywhere close to the 2100 different types of beers at Party Pak I might shop here. | | StFun (11), Indiana | | January 24, 2009 [ Updated April 29, 2009 ] Ben is really helping to put this store on the craft beer map. Getting a great selection of beer, getting beer minded people behind the counter, and starting to foster a good beer culture is a lot of work, but Ben is doing things the right way, and it is really starting to show. Parti Pak now has some real competition, and I find myself stopping at Crown much more than Pak. You will not be let down at this store.
Just an update: The store is getting better than ever. Ben is really hitting it out of the park and has gotten his store into elite status for Indy. I have been visiting this Crown for a LONG time, and in years past it was just because they sold so little craft beer, that I could still find Three Floyds Gumball Head bombers and Xtra Mild on the shelves. Now I go there because of the selection, prices, and great management. | johntreeter (7), Greenwood, Indiana does not count - explanation | | September 8, 2008 Place is great. Ben and many of the others know there stuff. They treat their rate beerians right. Fridays are tasting nights and they usually have some good stuff for your palate. |
