It’s all about the beer. Forget ambiance. I felt like I was sitting in a mobile-home extension to a community Bingo hall. Drafty, cold, painfully florescent-lit and bright, the astroturf carpeting sure didn’t add much to the ambiance, but it definitely caught the shells from our $1.25 bowl of peanuts. The surroundings were as romantic as a scene where a sailor finally gets one day of shore leave after being in the service for 2 years and stumbles into the nearest bar to port only to find a toothless etc. etc...you get the idea. We did have this amazing cave-man-like cheesesteak that was brought out on a hot granite stone that cooked the meat in front of our eyes. That part was pretty cool and I highly recommend the stone grill to everyone. The IPA and IIPA were phenomenal, top notch and well worth the drive....I wasn’t so hip on their other offerings...some had severe flaws and off flavors. We also split a pizza that was suppose to have blue cheese which tasted pretty ok, but their usage of bleu cheese dressing instead of blue cheese crumbles was definitely "different". Go for the beer, close your eyes and drink.

Outstanding beer is the thing here. This little place cranks out some consistently great beers, aided by the nearby brewery expansion. The food is tasty and fun, though pricey. Funky, cozy atmosphere. The biggest downside is that the seating is pretty uncomfortable if there’s a crowd.

A small place in a beautiful location by the sound. It doesn’t look like very much either inside or outside, but is comfortable with heavy wooden tables. The biggest disadvantage is parking. With the ferry, beach, and other businesses you may have to struggle to find a spot. They serve a sublime IPA, both the regular and "industrial", and have very good pizza. I love a beer with spicy food and personally recommend the jalapeno and pepperocini laden "chainsaw massacre" pizza. Prices are reasonable, and the service is good.

Lincoln Ave location as I brought the kids. What a lovely little group of buildings. Inside is small but quaint. Service was excellent, pizza was outstanding. And the beer, very nice. We will definitely be back, if it is nice, the patio looks quite inviting.

Arriving in Mukilteo the sun was setting the beer was cold the crowd was huge this was the place. Parking? What parking? Need to find a spot and it can be a hoof if it is a beautiful day like it was. Watch the traffic it can be busy when the ferry comes in. Sat down got the free peanuts and the bartender was ready with my order. I got more samples of some awesome brews. Vienna, Possession Porter, XXX Triple Industrial IPA and Steamer Glide stout was to finish the tasting at Diamond Knot. A traditional old brew pub that has tons of character and fun happening. They had a band playing the food looked awesome and tasted great. The character was awesome of old brewery signs and some that where very rare. They knew there beers and the place was just for adults. They do have a family friendly place that just opened up and I will stop by there when I am in town next time. This is on the water so it can be a great day trip take the family and see the sights and finish with some good brews. The IPA and s

Visited during Mukfest 2008 - kind of a dive but seemed clean enough and I got a table for 10 without waiting so really cant complain. Big selection of brews but none of the ones I really wanted to try - oh well. Food was a skosh above average. Fun to watch people burn themselves all night long on those retarded hot stones. Lots of TV’s - bathrooms need a renovation. Not worth going out of your way for but decent regardless.

Visited on the afternoon of Tuesday, February 12th. Very warm pub atmosphere, worn wood and furniture through out. Not run down, just very authentic. Right by the ferry dock, so has a very Port town feeling to the place. The bartender was very friendly, and extremely accommodating in allowing me to try smaller pours of their beers (who needs a full pint of IIPA when you need to drive back to Seattle?) I didn’t order any food, but what I saw coming out looked very good. The crowd was a great mix of locals who appreciated good beer, beer nerds and other general tourists. Even at 3PM on Tuesday, there were at least 20-30 folks in the place. I was staying in downtown Seattle, and the drive up took me about 50 minutes.

Wood everywhere in this rather cozy space, with a really nice lineup of beers onhand including their famous IPA, Industrial IPA and Icebreaker Barleywine. The table next to us was filled with local fishermen, which just speaks of the character of this place. When ordering a sandwich, you will be cooking part of it yourself. Kind of fun, but I ordered the pizza, which was nice. Staff was fairly friendly and helpful. Very worth the trip up to here from Seattle.

I spent way too much time in the Seattle area without ever visiting here. I finally corrected the problem. Great little place. They have a hot stone system that lets you grill your food at your table. Nice selection of beers, and some of them are pretty close to fantastic.

Visited 06Jul2007. Good beer. Good food. As said by many others, don’t bring your kids. That is one thing I truly dislike about Washington. Had to deal with this growing up as my Uncle owned bars in Washington and I could never go in the places even though they served food. DK could allow kids if they wanted... http://www.leg.wa.gov/documents/wsr/2005/22/05-22-022.htm they just don’t want kids in there I have to assume. Again... Good beer, good food. Anti-family.
