What can you say about an inviting establishment that sells Dogfish Head on tap? Add to this great food, attentive service and a relaxing atmosphere and you get an enjoyable beer drinking experience. Plenty of rare styles in bottles too!

I was a little disappointed here since I love dogfish so much. The real disappointment was that they only had their standard beersno raison d’extra, no immort ale, or any other beers i really wanted to sample and the spring beer was already gone. It was also fairly standard ambiance. That said, the beers they do have pour extremely well and there is some good food. It’s more than worth a visit, it just doesn’t live up to what i’d expect from dogfish.

I didn’t realize this was just an hour down the road. A little expensive for the fare but terrific beer! Service was sub-par and I wish they had more of the Hard-to-Find brews of theirs available. We will have to try again.

Typical brewpub restaurant, typical Applebees-ish service, and not THAT great of a selection of beer, especially if you’re in the market for some of their harder-to-find brews.
I’d go back over and over, but don’t expect to be blown away by the staff’s knowledge of their more esoteric brews (or beer in general) and definitiely don’t expect superb service.

Great selection of beers from probably one of the best breweries on the east coast if not the entire country. Obviously, they only carry their house brews, which can be quite experimental. Come prepared for the beer to take center stage. Yet, the food here is some of the best I’ve ever eaten at an alehouse, and overall in the alehouse genre Dogfish Brewing leads the way with a top notch experience.

not a bad spot. obviously they only carry DFH, but they have a pretty wide selection of it. don’t brew it there though. i had the raison d’extra, which cost me around $14. food is good, reuben wasn’t bad. they have an AWESOME bread pudding dessert. a touch on the expensive side. overall it’s just an average casual dining restaurant. reccomended, but it’s nothing amazing.

I find the food here to be the best pub-fare I have sampled. The burgers are awesome. The beers are good, but if you don’t like sweet or fruity beers and want to stick with dry ales it’s a little one-dimensional ranging from a lawn-mower beer to the 90 minute.

Alehouse 75, Festina Peche and Midas Touch on draft, that’s what I had during my visit. $1.50 off pints 4-7pm, discounted happy hour food as well. Service was great, friendly and flirty, quick to bring drinks and food. The atmosphere was average, the place is stuck out in a corporate park so there’s a lot of grinders who come here for cheap food and take up a 4-seat table with their fat butts, but otherwise it was enjoyable to have a few drinks here. Might come back if they put out a new beer or two. The hummus was decent but not superb, better than most supermarket brands, though.

I happened to be in the area for business and drove about an hour to get out to Dogfish Head.
The place was sort of a typical restaurant/pub. Nothing special from what I could tell.
The only interestng beer that they were serving that I couldn’t get at home was the Alehouse 75. It was good, but I was disappointed there wasn’t more one-off type brews available - maybe there is at the brewery.
The food was a cut above your average bar food.
All in all, it was worth it to say I have been to a DFH spot, but I don’t think I’ll go back next time I am in town.

Typical Fern bar food, but, seemed a bit fresher. (Went two nights and both meals were good). The beer was only DFH and seemd not to have too many specialties. Did have Immort and Raison D’extra on tap. Incredible and worth the trip for those. Right across the street from NIST. Didn’t see any vintage on the menu.
